In theory there might be a chance. When we look at the facts:Originally posted by Neil Young View Post
Can a club make up a deficit of 7 points with 17 games left? The answer to that must be yes, even if it's not the most likely outcome.
We have to face Emirates, Stamford and Old toilet and we are, best case scenario, trailing with 7p with 17 matches to go and Scum 6 points in front as well. It's not just one team that has to collapse...
Not a chance in hell.
It's not pessimistic saying so. It's simple perception of the facts.
We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

If we can - in theory - then we can. Ergo, we are not out of the title race.
If you think we won't then it may well turn out you're right but that's guesswork. I tend to agree but that's not the same as saying we're out of the title race in January, as has been suggested in plenty of places elsewhere.
Think of it this way: on our day, we can beat anyone but that's not to say we will of course..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I am not ambivalent, nor am I sensationalist. I just understand how money works at a basic level because that is part of my job.Originally posted by bigfooty View PostConsidering the financial problems that seem to be surrounding us at the moment I don't think you can be so ambivalent about the amount of money Rafa has spent.
Anyway, I think we can safely say it is a Big 3 this year. FFS
3rd place. Worst champions ever.
