    Not tonight I don't.

But I like the way we play when "it works" and we play well and win. When we win, we are a top side and play good football. The problem is we're not winning enough, obviously, and when we're bad we're ****ing terrible.

But yeah, I much prefer the way a properly-functioning Rafa Benitez team plays football than a Mourinho team. Not interested in Mourinho or his brand of football at Anfield.

Come on fredo, read the posts eh?
I've got nothing against Jose. If you dig out one of my past posts, you'll see that I've made a thread saying how good I think he is. I think he's brilliant as a media man and by the way he uses the press etc ...

But in saying that, I think Rafa is an even better manager and should be given time.

Mourihno is hated by a large portion of fans and hatred is not a rational thing. Can't you see how I'm liked in here ?

(evidence for Rafa winning league) - Yes there is - he managed 82 points 2 years ago. That would have won the premiership more often than not.

He's realised he can't drop his best players. Now he'll realise he can't **** around with formations. Unfortunately, we're still a work in progress, but I still have faith that we can win this ****ing league in the next 2-3 years.

The most toothless squad we've ever had?

If you're an opposing team and you stop Torres and Gerrard from being a goal threat, you've got half a chance of not getting beat.

Our defence apart from Sami never score.

Kewell, Masch, Pennant, Alonso haven't scored this season.

Benny has scored two in league games.

Momo finally broke his duck, and is on a grand total of one.

Kuyt has managed 3 league goals this season (two were pens and the other he knew **** all about). Voronin has 3 as well.

Babel, the only other player who's contributed hardly ever plays apart from his cameo roles and poor Crouchy has been banished altogether.

Any wonder we're stuggling for goals when the two main men don't score???

Because when Rafa assembled a team to play Joses £300 million pound team twice in the CL he outsmarted him both times .

Rafa would have won the CL 3 yrs in a row with Romans millions.IMHO.

              Fine mate

Happy with your Avatar change too

ook I'm waiting for one of the "**** of Mourinho" crew to explain their strong objections. If it's purely doubts about his ability then fine, i have doubts about Rafa's ability but I don't think it's an insult to have him at the club.

Totally agree Shaggy. Mourniho will make us look even boring - something that can't be thrown at us when we were knocking in goals for fun. Did Chavski ever do that particularly, despite their obvious talent?

Wrong. 3 and a half years isn't enough. He should be judged at least by the length of his contract mate. It's knee jerk thinking otherwise, I think.

What is the problem with him? If it's purely doubts about his ability or his personality then fine, but can't we overlook his personality if he wins the league? Isn't that what this club is about?
I wouldn't know about "an insult to the history and traditions of the club" but I do think it's an insult to our manager Rafa. That's the individual's prerogative but, given the relationship Rafa had with him, I think it's insulting (and treacherous!) to our gaffer.

Clearly not everyone has to feel the same way.

Interesting stuff shags, you mention about winning and how you like it.

But the man who seems to win as a habit (mourinho) makes you sick.

That doesn't explain why it's an insult to the club''s history and traditions.

How much did Mourinho spend to win the title at Chavski? 89 million give or take. Check the facts

Alonso scored a couple against Derby.

                            But I take your point.

Surely it would make sense to play Babel (7 goals), Benayoun (6 goals) and Crouch with Torres and Gerrard in the team whenever possible?

                              How's it wrong?

When has he ever proved that he can make a genuine Premier League title challenge? The answer is he hasnt.

So in that context, sadly yes, he is a loser.

Aside from emotional attachment and/or pure speculation, you have no basis for disagreeing with that.

As far as cold hard facts are concerned, i'm not wrong.
