Respect for our manager should mean people support him to the hilt. No one should be wishing for a new manager, yes mistakes have been made but no one should be turning on an LFC manager. We aren't Newcastle FFS.

If Rafa is sacked then we are no better than Newcastle.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

The Yanks will have set a precedent. When Houllier was sacked we had a ****e squad so Rafa was afforded quite a bit of grace. In that time he has built a very good squad. We're not quite there yet but we're getting there.
The new man wouldn't have the excuse of having to rebuild.
Rafa has to be given more time and I hope he gets it.
Mourinho can **** off. He's a ****ing scumbag of the highest order who I want nowhere near our club.
Exactly.
If anyone does come in, we are not in **** street so I expect results. And if its that **** then unless he gets 4 points for every win, I wont be happy.Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

Were you saying the same thing in the final days of Houllier? When we were "the most attacking team in the league" we "turned another corner" and finished 5th?Originally posted by sonsofthedesert View PostRespect for our manager should mean people support him to the hilt. sometimes you've got to know when things aren't working and Rafa hasn't managed to improve our league form in his 3 and a half seasons. How long do we back him for with seemingly no improvement in the league?Originally posted by Gordon Brown

It amazes me just how many have been quick to change their tune. They all hated Mourinho. He was a classless cunt, ****e manager, ****e tactics, a cheat etc... Now all of a sudden the same people want him in charge?Originally posted by paulcooper4 View Postpeople are acting the cunt though so I really dont see what the problem is mate. Its late night, everyone is ripping the manager a new arsehole, most seem to be talking as if they want him gone and a good few are wanting Jose ****ing Mourinho so I for one am not offended in the slightest by him having the balls to tell them what they are.
Its just words fella, mods are people too yanno, they have emotions and get pissed off with people.
Sad really, imho.
Spot on my man!Originally posted by tomasjj View PostCries for Mourinho again eh?
FFS, if Maureen could read this he would get a stiffy. Have a word!

Let's back our team and our manager while he is at the helm.

It'd be interesting if you could name and shame. I've always thought he was classless and hate/dislike him in that respect, but I've always thought he was a good manager.Originally posted by kurtangle01 View PostIt amazes me just how many have been quick to change their tune. You don't win the premiership with a record number of points and a record number of goals in your first season with a club that hadn't won the league for 50 years without being a bloody good manager.

If by 'something to celebrate', you mean the title, then it's not May 2008 you're referring to
