I think I can remember that DIC said that they would only return if the supporters are behind them. That time is almost here.
I don't often agree with what you say AF but I'm totally with you on the DIC thing.

Saying we are no nearer than under Evans is a bit of a simplistic comparison though!!

In terms of the financial gap being wider, that is true.

I think he forgot that a lot more clubs can spend a lot more money. That makes it a little more difficult.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Man U can spend as much net in one window as Rafa have done in four years.

cause i think its his agents keeping his profile up
No chance will he get the LFC job, we wont take a risk like Clinsman.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                  * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

It's G&H we are talking about. Who knows what those muppets will do.

I wouldn't be too uneasy if I were you. I mean, it's possible Rafa says one thing but believes another. He's not in a position where admitting his own failings in public is going to help him much I think but that doesn't mean he's completely oblivious to mistakes he's made.

I actually think he's fairly pragmatic in some ways - maybe too much so in that his pragmatism means he tends to chop and change things perhaps too much rather than thinking, this is how we play, let them worry about us. He has certainly been pragmatic about players who aren't cutting it - they don't hang about like they did under his predecessor.
I'm certainly not concerned when it comes to players who aren't performing. Rafa's no Ged in that respect.

Tactically though it's another matter. Perhaps he just can't make his mind up on his preferred formation, but when he sets his team up like he did away to Reading in the league, you do wonder what on earth he's thinking about.

Then there's our rather timid - you say might pragmatic - approach to games. We simply show teams too much respect. Wigan the other night was a perfect example of this, as was Man Citeh away last week. We will never win the league with this kind of opaque mentality. You'd think that after 3 and a half years in this country that Rafa would've figured out that most teams come to Anfield for a draw and set up to defend (park the bus). Yet we just don't go at them, and by that I don't mean silly gun-ho attack, attack Brazil 1982 nonsense.

In that regard we haven't progressed since Ged. It's very, very frustrating.

"After all, I trust him in the transfer market."

I'm not sure I do (with regard to attacking players). My hope is that with enough money he will buy true class (as with Torres). His success record with judgement / delivery in bringing in other attacking players is shocking.
crouch will easily get more money than he paid
                        Babel - great future signing
Torres - dont have to say anything
                        garcia - lil genius
                        benayoun - looks pretty good
vrononin - free and he plays like it
Kuyt - did well first yr, dad dying has hit him hard
morientes - EVERYONE thought he would be a success

then he has still had to buy them, but we have some phenomenal young attacking talent coming through by all accounts.

I just wish he had as much faith in some of his team as we do and less faith in some others .....and realise that his great tactics should only be needed iin a dozen or so games in the premiership....the rest we should just go out and smash them to ****

Im sick to my back teeth of all this Rafa ****, I hate the press, hate Sky and its staff, ****ing hate everyone who dismisses Liverpool and Rafa. For gods sake, part of me wants this to end, one way or the other, the yanks really really **** me off, a simple statement could end this immediately "we want roffa to stay for years and we will NOT be sacking him" or "due to our differences we are parting company at the end of the season, Roffa and us think this the right move"......just ****ing end this speculation!! argggggggghhhhhhh............
