I can't be arsed reading all this but could I just say that Mourinho is a total cunt who is the antithesis of what I want my football club to be about. If Rafa was sacked and he were to come I would most probably jack it in.

Exactly right.Originally posted by Revo View Postthe biggest disappointment here is the lack of respect for benitez. what is so ****ing hard to be humble and let the cards fall where they are going to fall? am i happy? am i ****, but the man rafa has done more than enough for me to keep my mouth shut and see how the season and the drama with the new owners pans out. for those of you spouting mourhinio, stop being selfish cunts.stop with the ****ing polls and the sub forum anti rafa **** and act like true reds. support the manager, be brave and stand up. the current form hurts but we are close, lets not fold now but stick together.
imho, rafa is a dead man walking and i will be ****ed if i am going to stick the knife in or even mention any support for any ****ing manager as long as rafa still owns the managers seat. the americans will have their own agenda and the last thing rafa needs is the backlash from ourside as well. im asking each and everyone of you to stand tall until the end of the season
We expect 100% commitment from the players, the fans should be the same.
Right now things arent going well on the pitch but it'll come good. This is the best set up we have had since we last won the league. Negativity breeds negativity.
Mate, you and I and others on here can waffle between ourselves and disagree/agree and its no problem at all. Yet yesterday I come on here and there are people who are openly saying they want Rafa gone and Jose in and sadly, sometimes you have to use language they will understand.Originally posted by alunevans View PostOh dear Chris. If you no longer think Rafa is the man to lead us, that doesn't make you a cunt.
My own view is that he does everything right until it comes to the stuff on the pitch - but that he is under threat for non footballing reasons, that there isn't an alternative candidate out there that has emerged that will have the fans support, and that the Yanks aren't trustworthy or knowledgable enough to appoint the next manager of LFC. So for those reasons alone I'd be keeping hold of Rafa.
But those who are at the point where they think it'd be the right thing for LFC for Rafa to move on aren't cunts. They just see the future of LFC differently than you do.
I really wish we could learn to exchange our opinions with some civility on this site. It would make it a more pleasant place to be.
I'm a bit surprised to be directing this one at a good un like you too mate.
It is a disgrace to Rafa and fellow fans to be like that. Its not like the dark days of Houllier or Souness right now is it? You and I know we are close unlike then and for Rafa to be treated like this from the clubs fans, to me is an absolute disgrace. I know its not sweetness and light and sometimes Rafa baffles me just like yourself but again, we are not in **** street.
I think that left to his own devices that he would bring us the title within 2 years. He atleast deserves the same amount of time as Houllier. By the end of 09/10 we can see where we are with Rafa. If we arent any closer and signs arent good then its, 'Thank you very much Rafa, youve done your best but its time for someone else, no hard feelings'.
All this **** that surrounds Rafa and LFC is no good. Its like, lets say youre doing a gig and everyone is talkiong about you and doubting your technique and you pick up the Echo and its saying **** like 'Alun Parry best pull out a good gig or his days are numbered' and then you go on to your website and people are douting you and some are suggesting getting someone else in to sing your songs for you. Next time you have a gig you'll be ****ting yourself and feeling the pressure. Now imagine what its like for Rafa and the boys? The team need our support, and if they have our support then all the **** in the papers wil go because we are ignoring it.
Lets face it, we the fans do hold some power. They used to say the Kop sucked the ball in, it frightened teams. Now the fans are frightening thier own players. Players are written off before the game has kicked off. All any Liverpool fan can ask is for the team and manager to give thier all for the cause, if its not enough then we get better but we give them the chance. Same goes for managers. When its not working, we get rid. Its still working, its far from broken. Rough with the smooth.
Anyway thats enough waffle. LFC for the Cup.Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.
