Yes it would and in many ways it already has but if we employ Mourinho then it really would be the last straw. Some of his attacks on officials, his disgraceful attack on the ambulancemen means I would never want him at LFC.

However, I would be very uncomfirtable with him at the helm because hesays and does so many things which I strongest dislike. Doesn't make him a bad manager but it does make him an unsuitable man to be manager at LFC. I understand the argument that you don't have to like him but for me he's way beyond that.

LFC used to stand for decency and integrity in the game. What shread of that that remains would be gone under mourinho.

      Well said.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

        Sentiment, pure sentiment.

We are now run by business men who are (understandably) only interested in the bottom line and NOT the 'Liverpool way'.

Times change. Sad though it is.

I'm not confident we'll end up with Jose as i'm really unsure about our spending prowess at the moment and that's one of the first questions he'll ask.

Unfortunately though I don't think Rafa will be here next year either.

NOTE: Obviously this post is based on opinion rather than fact, but i think in time it'll be proved a correct one.

Syd, his comments about the ambulence service were an absolute joke. It showed just what a classless horrible man he really is. Saying that their response wasn't good enough and they left Cech so long and treated him so badly that he almost died. These comments were retracted later though after he was threatened with legal action.

If he ends up as our manager it will be one of the worst days in recent memory for the club. Whether you agree or not is another matter.

            I agree totally.

I think Rafa will go by the summer at the latest and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Mourinho was appointed. The old Liverpool Way has well and truely gone.

Do you think Mourinho would expect Abramovich style transfer budgets at other clubs? I highly doubt it.

the biggest disappointment here is the lack of respect for benitez. what is so ****ing hard to be humble and let the cards fall where they are going to fall? am i happy? am i ****, but the man rafa has done more than enough for me to keep my mouth shut and see how the season and the drama with the new owners pans out. for those of you spouting mourhinio, stop being selfish cunts.stop with the ****ing polls and the sub forum anti rafa **** and act like true reds. support the manager, be brave and stand up. the current form hurts but we are close, lets not fold now but stick together.
imho, rafa is a dead man walking and i will be ****ed if i am going to stick the knife in or even mention any support for any ****ing manager as long as rafa still owns the managers seat. the americans will have their own agenda and the last thing rafa needs is the backlash from ourside as well. im asking each and everyone of you to stand tall until the end of the season

Oh dear Chris. Do even the mods have to turn discussions into an insultathon

If you no longer think Rafa is the man to lead us, that doesn't make you a cunt.

My own view is that he does everything right until it comes to the stuff on the pitch - but that he is under threat for non footballing reasons, that there isn't an alternative candidate out there that has emerged that will have the fans support, and that the Yanks aren't trustworthy or knowledgable enough to appoint the next manager of LFC. So for those reasons alone I'd be keeping hold of Rafa.

But those who are at the point where they think it'd be the right thing for LFC for Rafa to move on aren't cunts. They just see the future of LFC differently than you do.

I really wish we could learn to exchange our opinions with some civility on this site. It would make it a more pleasant place to be.

I'm a bit surprised to be directing this one at a good un like you too mate.

in all fairness to chris though, you make a balanced and well reasoned argument when half, no most of these gob****es are sticking the knife in without one ****ing shred of loyalty. there is going to be plenty of speculation after the season alun, lets all help the man get there

No you're fine to support Rafa. I did earlier too despite being a confirmed Rafa-skeptic.

And you're fine to be fed up at people taking a pot shot at him, and voice that if that's your view.

But to call everyone cunts and ****s? Yes I think you're wrong on that mate.

I'm sure if everyone did it this place would be a really **** site.

Its late night, everyone is ripping the manager a new arsehole, most seem to be talking as if they want him gone and a good few are wanting Jose ****ing Mourinho so I for one am not offended in the slightest by him having the balls to tell them what they are.

Its just words fella, mods are people too yanno, they have emotions and get pissed off with people.
Does that mean we're all allowed to abuse each other on here from now on in whenever we get emotional?

                            I doubt it.

Let's just cut the abuse everyone.

I loathe Maureen, would object to him being manager at LFC to such an extent that I'd seriously consider my season ticket, am a Rafa skeptic but feel it would be potentially disastrous for him to go anytime soon.

But that's just my view. If someone has a different take on it I'd rather put my point without resorting to calling people cunts. There's too much of all that on this site.

And if a cunt like me can do it, I'm sure everyone else can as well. :

he didnt call everyone cunts and ****s to be fair mate. his pos imo was aimed at a certain few who will not listen to any form of reason and seem to be intent on dragging the good name of our clubs reputation down at every available opportunity.

You know as well as I do that chris doesnt just run around calling everyone a cunt mate, he was showing emotion in support of the manager who is getting kicked all over the shop by lads that should be supporting him, or at least treating him with respect.

To not say what you feel just because you are a "mod" is just falseand I fail to see how that would improve the site in any way, shape or form
