Quite happy to admit I could be wrong thenOriginally posted by The Glove View PostNewell is at Anfield near enough every game nowadays. Sits in with some of the powers that were/be.
but I've always thought he was too quick to shoot his mouth off and then had nothing to back it up.
You can agree with me, or you can be wrong.

I think people are missing the point here.
The problems we've got are not about needing another 2 or 3 players. The club is in turmoil off the pitch in my view and a divided club wins nothing. G&H want Rafa out because he challenged them publically over their handling of the club. We've got the best manager we've had in 20 years and 2 yanks sitting 6000 miles away who know NOTHING about LFC or football will get shut of him because as an employee he dared to challenge them.
In my view Rafa will go and the whole thing will start again. Trouble is i'm not sure changing the owners will help much as i've no faith that DIC or whoever will be any better. The LFC we all grew up with has gone, we are now a corporate brand whose owners are there primarily to make cash not win trophies. Rafa has been given neither the time nor money required and thats the 1st time thats happened since Adam was a lad. In my view we'd better get used to it because thats the world we entered when Moores sold up.AKA Heighway No9

Wow you have the patience of a saint young man. Well done.Originally posted by kurtangle01 View PostTop four is minimum. Obviously I want more but I'm prepared to wait and see how things pan out over the next season or two before I make a judgement.
I wish I shared your optimism/faith Scott but I'm afraid I don't.

Do we win the league under Benitez (if he stays on) in the next 3 seasons?

In answer to your question, who the **** knows? hopefully yes, I see no reason why we wouldnt eventually

Success is measured over time and so far he hasn't done to bad so what's to say that he wont do well in the future?Originally posted by Howard_lfc View PostWow you have the patience of a saint young man. Well done.

That's my view anyway.

I expect a title every 1 year fella, dunno where you get this 1 in 3 years bollocks?Originally posted by MerseyCider View PostHopefully
Exactly. We should be expected to take at least 1 title every 3 years. Rafa gives me no confidence domestically im afriad.
But im not that much of a stupid cunt to not realise we havent won it for nearly 18 years and its slightly harder than you are making it sound to win the league.
