Why should they speed up their buisness contracts with employees to pacify a press that will look for another supposed problem within Liverpool FC after this has blown over????
As I said, it has the potential to snowball and disturb everything in the club.

In some aspects it already has imo.

We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

      You still choose to think there`s a problem,I don`t.
I doubt Gillette's wife ever asked him for money and got turned down leading her to have a public tantrum in a press conference in front of the world making Gillette look like a c*nt then allegedly telling everyone that the owners of the club don't understand the transfer market, but you never know.

Trust takes a long time to build and seconds to break. Given the relatively short time they've had together Rafa scored a massive own goal with his press conference about concentrating on his team and I don't know if the bridge to rebuild that trust will ever be finished.

There is of course as always a lot of media bull**** about all this, and it's surprising that Rafa is getting more attention than fathead over in toonland given their accomplishments which is something else that worries me along with his relationship building with the fans.

            It`s a no win situation.
1.The board don`t publically back Rafa and it means he`s doomed.
2.The board publically Back Rafa and it means the kiss of death.
no it's not the basis for my opinion, it is only a counter arguement to whoever it was that said the "doomer mongers" are all basing opinion from reading the press, but in answer to your question, yes either scenario is possible as are the complete opposites of those scenarios.

no, your point was that everything is fine because Rafa and G&H say it is and therefore everyone who doesn't believe is negative.

Even the guys at the echo that did the interview are supposed to have been really happy with it.
That's Rafa's point of view, not the owners.

Seems a valid point doesn't it? Both the manager and the owners have put it behind them, both have been quoted as saying everything is sorted and it was all a misunderstanding.

So, if you choose not to believe the words being spoken then yes, i think you are being unduly negative. You're happy to believe unsubstantiated newspaper reports, filled with alledged sources, yet direct quotes from manager/owners are brushed aside as they don't fit with the negativity that you choose to side with.

Tiresome, tedious, annoying....it doesn't matter if we won the league, the CL, the FA Cup, the carling, the Grand National and the World Scrabble Championships, a pundit will have a pop about something.

I can't remember if it was the Besiktas game or Marseille but Torres was on fire in the first half and ITV's attempt at half-time analysis was Townsend saying how brilliant Torres had been, quickly followed by a "so why doesn't Benitez play him more often?" from Steve Ryder. As if he is remotely qualified to be having a pop.
                            Never knowingly optimistic

So did they tell you Parry would come and deny these stories to the press too ?

I'm not daft Quinncy. I'm fairly certain that there's something wrong between the owners and Rafa. And I'm not sure it's something related to how he manages the team or brings us success or not.

Normally the media find an easy target and keep printing that all there matches are a must win or they could face the sack. They keep doing this until the results turn so bad that they do get sacked or if the results start going the right way the pick on another manager.
If the papers were right all the time then there wouldnt be a manager left in a job for more than a year. It was only last year that Wenger was leaving Arsenal.
