Thanjk you.
Paul.S
Witchunt of the month - he has been putting up with this practically since he's been manager.
Rotation, zonal marking, worst LFC team in history(after losing to Burnley in FA Cup), the amount of money he has spent etc - it's all getting rather tiresome!!
I think you have mistaken what I was trying to say
He basically admits he does talk off the record, the muppet on sunday supplement this weekend stated Rafa di this. I don't see anything wrong with these comments, he is being positive and distancing himself from other clubs. How do you get negative stuff from this. Even the guys at the echo that did the interview are supposed to have been really happy with it.

You must look it from both Rafa's point of view and G&H's.
Rafa's point of view is that he want to stay. We don't know what G&H want.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
Am I reading this differently to everyone else? this makes me think he's more likely to leave but by being sacked and he knows it's likely to come. The article is all about him not wanting to leave and showing the fans he wants to stay and not about G&H wanting to boot him out.
I think you're right. Rafa's using the media again. Very risky, this will go down like a sausage sandwich at a Bar Mitzvah in the US.
Guesswork here, but it could be that Rafa was briefing off the record and it got misinterpreted.
I
Maybe i`m just naive lads but I think youre both reading too deeply into it.
He is distancing himself from weekend media reports that were claiming he was looking to go to another club in the summer. He is stating clearly that he doesnt want to go anywhere as was claimed in the press and he only sees his future at liverpool

The guys at the echo are happy because they've got an exclusive interview with the manager of liverpool football club. Half of them are evertonians.
If you look at my post, I say "I'm guessing here" so please wind your indignation back in.

That is my point as well, how can this be negative.

Rafa's point of view is that he want to stay. We don't know what G&H want.
Hasn't Gillett recently said that Rafa is the man they want and didn't Hicks say in a recent interview that is was all over and done with and he finds the media speculation very funny?
So we now have someone starting to put the negative spin on it. Why don't you become a journalist, your half way there.
why is it a negative spin? This thread starts by announcing an article to clear up all the speculation. Most of the speculation I have read recently is about Rafa being sacked not Rafa wanting to leave for another club - ergo, the article does not clear up anything other than Rafa wanting the fans to know he will not be resigning.

Tom,your normally a great poster on this site.
For the last 6 weeks youv`e become very pessimistic while putting no concrete evidence infront of us to say Rafa is DEFINATLY getting sacked or will DEFINATLY walk away.
Too many off your posts regarding Rafa`s job security are guesswork and your partly responsible for whipping the doomongers on this site into a frenzy.
It`s dissappointing mate.

I did say I was guessing coops.
Of course he wants to stay. Who wouldn't, biggest club in the world, best supporters.

I'm just shocked at your view of it, your def a glass half empty kind of guy. I have full respect for you as well before you take it personally but I just don't know how your negative about that story. Also Joansie said that the LFC fan writers at the echo were happy about the story not that they were happy to have an exclusive.

They said that Rafa will stay for the imminent future or something like that.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
