I`ve been saying this for weeks and have been ignored.Originally posted by Pacman View PostHasn't Gillett recently said that Rafa is the man they want and didn't Hicks say in a recent interview that is was all over and done with and he finds the media speculation very funny?
The doomongers would rather form their own opinions from press snippets than actually listen to the people involved.

They did say that so I really don't know what would end the speculation now, maybe nothing will.

And where have we heard that before? Every manager who's ever been sacked has had the public support of the board right up to the moment they are sacked - add to that that it's media sourced it means sweet FA (no pun intended)Originally posted by Pacman View PostHasn't Gillett recently said that Rafa is the man they want and didn't Hicks say in a recent interview that is was all over and done with and he finds the media speculation very funny?

Sorry not going into this again. I'm not "GUESSING" I've passed on information from people who claim they have a pretty good idea of what is happening.Originally posted by Johnny View PostTom,your normally a great poster on this site.
For the last 6 weeks youv`e become very pessimistic while putting no concrete evidence infront of us to say Rafa is DEFINATLY getting sacked or will DEFINATLY walk away.
Too many off your posts regarding Rafa`s job security are guesswork and your partly responsible for whipping the doomongers on this site into a frenzy.
It`s dissappointing mate.
Concrete evidence. Don't be naive, what do you want a copy of Rafa's P45.

No they never.Originally posted by AFII View PostThey said that Rafa will stay for the imminent future or something like that.
Gillett said that everything is sort it and Rafa is the man for them and Hicks said it was all a storm in a tea cup.**** OFF HICKS AND GILLETT WE DON'T WANT YOU.

I know mate, not having a pop fellaOriginally posted by Tom View PostI did say I was guessing coops.
Of course he wants to stay. Who wouldn't, biggest club in the world, best supporters.
I just think you and snigger might be reading too much into it, which is understandable with all the **** flying around at the moment.
It genuinely looks to me though as being just what it is, rafa responding to ridiculous media claims made at the weekend and nothing more

They're happy because they are professional journalists who've got an exclusive. Yes a lot of the newsroom are supportive of Rafa, don't see how that contradicts my statement though.Originally posted by Pacman View PostSeeing as Jonsie works at the Echo Tom I think these 2 posts but your theory to bed

I'm not going to disagree with that Archie but I fail to see how Rafa stating that he doesn't want to go anywhere following stories that he thinks his future lies away from the club at the weekend can be taken as anything other than Rafa setting the record straight.Originally posted by Snigger View PostAnd where have we heard that before? Rafa also states that his relationship is better with the yanks and that they are all working together so I can't see how that would get on their tits.**** OFF HICKS AND GILLETT WE DON'T WANT YOU.

If you look at my post, I say "I'm guessing here" so please wind your indignation back in.

If they throw a contract extension on the table it will kill itOriginally posted by sonsofthedesert View PostThey did say that so I really don't know what would end the speculation now, maybe nothing will.
We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

Exactly. Seems to me that he is pleading for his job.Originally posted by Snigger View PostAm I reading this differently to everyone else? this makes me think he's more likely to leave but by being sacked and he knows it's likely to come. The article is all about him not wanting to leave and showing the fans he wants to stay and not about G&H wanting to boot him out.
