I haven't read any of it but apparently he puts a lot of rumours to bed about all those Sunday paper stories. I'm not there tomorrow so will have to wait with baited breath like the rest of you but it might answer some of the questions we all still have.

Everyone there who saw it seemed very happy with it.

Seeing as Jonsie works at the Echo Tom I think these 2 posts but your theory to bed

I`ve been saying this for weeks and have been ignored.

The doomongers would rather form their own opinions from press snippets than actually listen to the people involved.

They did say that so I really don't know what would end the speculation now, maybe nothing will.

And where have we heard that before? Every manager who's ever been sacked has had the public support of the board right up to the moment they are sacked - add to that that it's media sourced it means sweet FA (no pun intended)

For the last 6 weeks youv`e become very pessimistic while putting no concrete evidence infront of us to say Rafa is DEFINATLY getting sacked or will DEFINATLY walk away.

Too many off your posts regarding Rafa`s job security are guesswork and your partly responsible for whipping the doomongers on this site into a frenzy.
            It`s dissappointing mate.
Sorry not going into this again. I'm not "GUESSING" I've passed on information from people who claim they have a pretty good idea of what is happening.

Concrete evidence. Don't be naive, what do you want a copy of Rafa's P45.

              No they never.

Gillett said that everything is sort it and Rafa is the man for them and Hicks said it was all a storm in a tea cup.

I have full respect for you as well before you take it personally but I just don't know how your negative about that story. Also Joansie said that the LFC fan writers at the echo were happy about the story not that they were happy to have an exclusive.

I know mate, not having a pop fella

I just think you and snigger might be reading too much into it, which is understandable with all the **** flying around at the moment.

It genuinely looks to me though as being just what it is, rafa responding to ridiculous media claims made at the weekend and nothing more

They're happy because they are professional journalists who've got an exclusive. Yes a lot of the newsroom are supportive of Rafa, don't see how that contradicts my statement though.

I'm not going to disagree with that Archie but I fail to see how Rafa stating that he doesn't want to go anywhere following stories that he thinks his future lies away from the club at the weekend can be taken as anything other than Rafa setting the record straight.

Rafa also states that his relationship is better with the yanks and that they are all working together so I can't see how that would get on their tits.

I'd say Rafa being able to sign or sell a couple of more players in January will be a real indication on his standing with the owners.

If they throw a contract extension on the table it will kill it

We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

The article is all about him not wanting to leave and showing the fans he wants to stay and not about G&H wanting to boot him out.
Exactly. Seems to me that he is pleading for his job.
