We have zero confidence out there.

    Why?

Either Rafa has lost the players, or they are all bummed out because Rafa is a goner.

I just dont know what to think at the moment of Rafa. We are well capable of playing great football, but we can also play horrendous hoofball far to often. Im not sure if he instructs this or if the players just do it. Carra was shocking again today.

I dont want Mourinho, his teams are boring to watch, and he is a cunt. We would be no better off with him IMO

If Rafa was to get the boot, I'd want Hiddink, someone who can coach the players, who likes attacking football. His PSV team were fantastic to watch.

We are in real trouble if this form continues. We play a red hot Villa next week, who will not come for a point. They could really hammer us if we continue these impotent displays

I hope to high hell we give Luton an absolute gubbing, and instill some confidence into our play before we face Villa.

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

So that explains how the Arse beat us three times and put twelve goals past us last season...

These are the main issues for me:

1: Rafa imo, is far too clever for his own good and makes a simple game far too complex and asks too much of the players tactically. This is why we look disjointed and on many occasions unsure of what the manager actually wants. I truly believe that when he has a top quality player at his disposal, he doesnt know what to do with them, the years of Gerrard on the right when hes clearly better in the centre, Babel as a winger etc.

2: He desperately needs a number 2 who should be english with a good understanding of the Premier League because i dont believe that Rafa has got to grips with what you need to do to win it. We have a squad this year to be pushing the top 2 right to the end of the season. That we are not is imo largely down to Rafa although the players have to take a share of the responsibility i agree. I believe that a decent No 2 with prem experience would hugely benefit us.

3: These ****ing Yanks need to make a public statement of some ****ing kind to either back Rafa or sack him and be ****ing done with it. If theyre going to back him then give him the money he needs to take us forward. I dont mean unlimited funds but a plan in place whereby the likes of Sissoko, Kuyt etc are shipped out with a promise that the monies raised will be put back into the squad. Rafa said earlier this season that we would be looking at freebies in the transfer window which is utter bollox

                            get off rafa,s case

all i can say is half our squad must be world class in training everday! because there is "no way " rafa benitez would put them on the field, if he thought they werent good enough! i think we should leave the gaffer alone, and start booing players who are playing crap.and heres my list arbeloa, riise, voronin, kuyt, kewell. let them know how we feel, and dont say "oh we dont boo our players" because thats what they need !im sure people have thier own idea,s as to who else should be on this list !and like everything else on here, this is "my opinion" and as a fanatical liverpool fan for the last 25 years i think im entitled to "my opinion".rafa is a great manager and hes the way forward.but he can only do so much. dont let our great club stoop to the level of newcastle, man city, and all them other crappy clubs who change their managers at a drop of a hat! rafa is the man,he,ll get us there.ynwa.

Booing doesn't make players better though does it?

Only destroys any remaining morale. The players you mention are at least trying, whatever you think.
