Yup, but we ****ed up that decision to go with the Americans BIG time, from what i see.

Would things have been as bad with DIC? I doubt it.

We really ****ed up the takeover IMO...after all that ****ing time spent hawking ourselves around.

I also have minor doubts about DIC but there's no doubting their financial clout.

I'm dubious about this report but it'll be interesting to see how it pans out.
We ****ed up on nothing mate. It was Moores and Parry who saw the $$ signs and sold us down the river.

That may very well be doing Moores a huge disservice and he may have been blind sided by the smooth talking Yanks like most of us were.

          I want the Americans out.

I think that we had problems with Moores but we are fast turning into some sort of soap opera. Its one thing after another and it isn't good.
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

Nothing we could do. Moores had a duty to his shareholders to consider every offer and DIC ran off.

Still don't believe this for a second, though. Why would DIC come back into the frame.

There's absolutely no way DIC will buy us. NONE!

Moores was legally obliged to get the best deal for the shareholders so to have a go at him on that ground is unreasonable.

any new owners wont necessarily need deep pockets, just enough to get the new stadium built, a normal transfer budget, and more importantly respecting the liverpool way

IF the £500m figure is right then I have no doubt that G&H would sell up and leave, no doubt at all.

A £110m profit each would be very hard to turn down.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Exactly, deep pockets! well they would need to be round my way anyway.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

The problem I have with it is that they could have bought the club a lot cheaper than the quoted amount last year so why didn't they. It would make bad nusiness sense to do it for the price discussed.

Last year I wanted a house, I lodged an offer and it was accepted, I was gazumped the day before exchange, the cunts who put in a higher offer were all smug and that but they too got into difficulties and in the end they had to pull out with their tail between their legs, despite thinking "**** them for messing me around" I decided that the house I wanted was of sufficient quality to purchase and so at second time of asking I did.

                            Thats why.

Hence the reason my post contained two lines.
