    And international management experience.

Would love to see him sign up a few of the Irish lads like Kilbane and Andy O' Brien to really bring us up a notch or two.

A humble guy with healthy desire.

and then top it off by raiding the blue****e for Carsley. There'd be no stopping us.

I'll discuss when and if Rafa leaves and not before then. The gutter press do this sort of thing.

I think we need someone who's won the Premiership, or at least come close, and that really only leaves Jose.

That said, if I went with my heart, I'd like to see O'Neill given a crack at the bigtime. Villa are playing some great football, and personality wise he's perfect for Liverpool, so humble but stern, he's a likeable bloke and a very good manager.

Rafa should stay and be backed financially by G&H but for pities sake decide on a formation and style of play and stick to it, don't change it after 4 or 5 good results. Let the team off the 'Leash' when the likes of Wigan come to Anfield, i'd rather finish 4th playing attacking football than finish 4th playing boring, negative football!

Depends; if the owners aren't willing to extensively back the manager, we'd need someone like O'Neill who can get amazing results from limited players. If there's gonna be money to spend, I'd go for Mourinho. Neither we would play fantabulous attacking football, but both have PL experience and both have had success.

Yeah, he'd employ the strategy and formation I've been banging on about which is the 3 in midfield (Gerrard, masher and Xabi) with Crouch for Carew and Babel and Torres doing the Agbonlahor and Young roles. He'd also get the best out of our players and he has an eye for talent. He also puts the emphasis on quality and good passing slick football rather that grafting. I'd love him if Benny was to leave

Rijkaard. Or someone else who picks his best players week in week out

Hiddink is the only one i would be happy with.

This thread is a little premature.

The problem with G&H is that they don't appear to have faith in Rafa's ability when they should have.
But how would they know if he's any good or not. They've only been watching footy for 2 minutes.

Rafa can only dream about managing Mardid if he fails to win the title here.

I guess we can write this season off (domestically). Whether he will continue with his tinkering and tactics next season remains to be seen. Hoepfully not (see below)
