Well I would agree with the thrust of the article, thaat Rafa gets total support. BUT................there seems to be an acceptance that G&H want Rafa out, without a single soliitary fact in the whole thing. Rumors start and grow like bloody forest fires, and our shameful press takes great delight in having thier work made easier by simply copying articles from paper to paper. I personally dont hold much truck with this idea that because theres been no denial 'it must be true' . That has never made any sense to me, if only because i've seen too many denials from club chairmen br overturned within a day!!!! So, as ever, sit tight and see what happens people, and in the words of cororal Jones....DONT PANIC!!!

I think they paid £1k more because they hoped that DIC would come in later so they could sell to them with a good profit. They know how mega rich DIC are and took a gamble. They won't lose more or less any money themselves if they don't get a new loan, it's the club that will take the hit, not them.

It's just the consistency in which they make public denials mate. You see Parry in flash denying rumors of Hicks selling though, but nothing to dispel the rumors about Rafa. How about some consistency ?

I'm with you on this. I really get the feeling that some of those COCKSUCKER MOTHER ****ING ****FACES jornos are on boards like these and realise how much of a stir all this ****e is causing, we are in effect feeding the fire even by just discussing all of this bollix on here, day in day out, regardless of how many times Parry, Rafa, Carra, Gillet or Tom come out and say its all bollix .. its just keeps rolling and rolling on,

Who knows? I think G&H thought that they could make a quick profit. They have not gambled with any of their own money so far, not a single pound. They are very reluctant to use any cash as security, again no personal risk. They allegedly offered a share of the club for a fantasy price to DIC, probably to test the water.

Don't be silly AFII. They planned to remortgage their loan in with the stadium, build it then sell for much more. Simple, and all done without spending a cent of their own money.

Let me ask you this. Why when the Capello story broke did Parry immediately put out a complete denial?

Why, in the face of much more substantial and detailed stories about Klinsmann being offered the job have we heard nothing from the club.
Blaming Journalists for "making-up" stories is just silly. These stories have real base whether you like it or not. Unfortunately.

The article was a bit long winded for the point it was trying to make.

I think more is being made of the Rafa_vs_owners story than actually exists. The papers said Rafa would not last a week. That was a month ago. They were wrong. Secondly, Klinnsman is in a new job. They were wrong on that too.

Perhaps there is no hidden agenda in trying to force Rafa out? Perhaps it was a minor disagreement embellished to sell a few newspapers?

Disagreements between employee and bosses are frequent.

If Gillett and Hicks still own the club this Summer there is every chance Rafa will be gone. Maybe a fresh takeover is the only thing that can save Rafa.
