What on earth are you blabbing about ??
Your stance is admirable, in face of some hard facts, you're still choosing to bury your head in the sand and think that everything is good in a Alice in wonderlands world.
He told the ECHO: "We attempted to negotiate an option, as an insurance policy, to have him become manager if Rafa left for Real Madrid or other clubs that were rumoured in the UK press.

The story reminds me of both Jol (as someone mentioned) and Ranieri. The major difference being we have a manager who is not only liked by most fans but is also a winner.
The board, Parry and the owners need to stop washing their dirty linen in public. They dont help by keeping quiet. Moores must be gutted, whilst he may not have as much money, he never (with the exception of Gerrard wanting to leave) did much club wise in public.Quit your jibber jabber!!!
Jermaine, you know the song Billie Jean...is it about the tennis player??

Well, direct quotes from Hicks saying that Klinsmann was lined up, wouldn't result in hysterical reactions from LFC fans ?Originally posted by Venton View PostNo, I stand by it. In any case, it's a ridiculous way to do PR.

FFS mate.Originally posted by Johnny View PostHicks today insisted the talks would not have resulted in the immediate dismissal of Rafael Benitez and that Klinsmann was only "an insurance policy."
Remember Spurs and Levy courting Juande Ramos? They got caught with their pants down and said "Oh no, this had nothing to do with the manager's job...it was about something else. Martin Jol's position is not under threat..." etc etc.
I understand you're trying your hardest to remain positive but in reality mate you're just being unbelievably naive. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

It`s like everything else on this site. It`s how you choose to interpret it.the doom mongers will twist it and people like me will see is as it is.the owners had no plans to sack Rafa and made contingency plans incase he walked.Originally posted by fredo View PostJohnny, what does the 'immediate' word mean ? It's another can of worms mate.
