I'm sure they could meet in London or Edinburgh just as easily, as Tomas said you meet the client where they want to meet!

Not sure which is more disturbing, the current predicament or that clueless divvy, Rashid, being our man on the inside.
And is it me or does Tony Barrett change tack like the wind. Fackin journos.
Lets get real here, the only interest from DIC has been media speculation, probably planted by people with vested interests in getting the yanks out.
But Hicks has reiterated many times that he's staying and will, unless someone offers him silly money.

I am not arguing about the point that they will try and get every cent they can, nothing is truer at this moment.Originally posted by Pacman View PostI don't think so mate.
I think they believe we will forgive and forget.
They clearly think we are thick dumb soccer fans the way they treated us and our club over the past 6 months. I really believe they think it will all blow over and they will try and squeeze every last penny from us.
These yanks aren't going anywhere.
But I am confident they will sell, if not this January, before the start of next season.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Surely there is no long term future for them at a club where they are despised by the fans.
They should take the money and run while they have the chance but no doubt they will hold out for as long as they can to maximise their profit.A humble guy with healthy desire.

if that was to happen my worry would be that DIC wouldnt hang around that long.Originally posted by bazza76 View PostI am not arguing about the point that they will try and get every cent they can, nothing is truer at this moment.

TO be honest mate, I am surprised they came back in the first place. It seems there is more staying power in them than we first thought.Originally posted by Rafa Shankly View Postif that was to happen my worry would be that DIC wouldnt hang around that long.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:

I'm shocked they're still so determined to buy the club.
They must really see LFC as a potential jewel in the crown.A humble guy with healthy desire.

I agree in part they do think we will forgive and forget however that once again goes to show how far away they are from understanding LFC and their fans
Liverpool is probably the most militant city in the country and anyone who believes the city and people will forget those who "**** on them" should ask a certain tabloid newspaper about crossing scousers and hoping they forgetBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

I think DIC are sniffing around but aren't prepared to pay way over the odds. To be honest I'm not sure what Hicks agenda is, I think he'll sell if he can get out with a decent profit, but he's playing hardball saying he doesn't want to sell, to see how high DIC will go.
I get the feeling this one could run for a few months while they play cat and mouse in negotiating a price. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He said he's heard that they might pay up to 400 million, but that there's been no approach to either yank or official interest declared. Until such a time they buying us is a pipe dream with little or no substance.Originally posted by pablo1981Thats not what Mihir Bose said at all. He said they ahdnt made an official bid YET, but were prepared to pay upto £400m for the club.
