To be honest I never could understand why people think its so unlikely that you or Rash know some journalist's. journo's are only people so whats so unbelievable about it.What is up for debate though is whether said journo's are really in a positon to know for defo what is going on,but I for one appreciate anything you pass on.The journos tell people things they've heard but at the end of the day only DIC, Hicks and Gillett know for sure if DIC will buy the club

Just read this on 6CM
The most interesting revelation from this lengthy Associated Press story about Tom Hicks' ownership of Liverpool FC? This one, easily:
Hicks could have purchased Dallas' MLS franchise but decided not to. "In hindsight, I probably made the wrong decision," he said.

DIC wouldn't have come back in if they didn't have the incentives. I mean, they wouldn't face being rejected again. Don't know when it's gonna happen, it could take months, but it will. Hicks is trying to save his face via his PR stunt.

Surely the yanks, if they had no intent to sell, would have told DIC when they first came on the scene to be off.
of course it could have been G & H aproaching DIC to see if they wanted a minority stake. Still though, none the less, they are looking to reduce their stake, if not totally sell out.
On top of that, since DIC have started talking to the club, Hicks has spectacularly fell out with supporters and Rafa.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
