So what James Montague at the Guardian is saying is that while he was sunning himself picking up tax free money he was to **** scared to write anything of note because he would have got the sack - so he happily lived within this 'dictatorship' now he is protected by the Guardian 1000's of miles away he's brave enough to point out that bad things have happened.

i'd forgotten about the shovels in the ground within 60 days of the takeover stuff.

the RTK guys are spot on about that- and for whoever asked "what money have RTK used?"

surely match tickets, merchandise, sky/TV subscriptions, eseason tickets are where the RTK guys (and the rest of us) is where we put our money in.

and i expect we do it for a lot more honourable reasons than our americans friends- we love the club, want it to be successful and all we ask is that the players give their all as they live out our dreams.

i can't believe that another nice jpeg, a suggestion that buying a very good but slightly overrated defensive midfielder and a few well placed anti DIC articles have already blinded people to the **** we have been sold by these two americans.

but oddly, i'm not angry with them. i'm angry at the clowns who decided that 3 days of due diligence and a calvary trumpet call were enough to sell G&H to the decision makers at our club.

no wonder we've had the best part of 20 years of underachievment and been overtaken by our ruthless friends down the road

Agree with all of that save that I am seething at these yanks, and their constant attempts to pull the wool over our eyes

The world of finance is a jungle and I will not try to pretend that I understand every corner of it. Rushscored346 will probably do a better job than me explaining. If KFL defaults then G&H has lost their invesment and LFC would probably be sold off to the highest bidder. As long as LFC clocks in a revenue there will be no risk of a Leeds scenario. G&H could sell now and probably pocket a handsome profit. Hicks is convinced they will make a lot more long term and is prepared to carry us until someone will meet his valuation. I don't believe for one second that we will see a fumble from Hicks when it comes to financing. This is all ABC for G&H. Only a major crash in the global economy will upset G&H. Just like it would effect Glazer.

We have two greedy Americans on our hands, courtesy of Mr. Moores. They will try to carry us until the Stadium is in place. They might sell sooner. They will do everything in their power to dress LFC up and make her look as attractive as possible when the time comes. To put too much debt on the club wouldn't make much sense at all. With the new stadium and the likely increased revenue on TV and marketing/sponserdeals Hicks/Gillett expect the club to triple or even quadruple the value over the next 4/5 years. That is why they are here.

And I agree entirely with your last paragraph. It's sadly not likely that we will have the funding needed to challenge in the PL until the stadium is in place. Like I said earlier - who should we blame for this?
              So just to summarise:
              - despite promises to contrary we're not going to be buying snoogy doogy,

              - we will be servicing interest on both sides of the debt, i.e. LFC side and Kop football (meaning probably 30 million combined interest a year)

-and if Kop football defaults LFC is sold in a firesale.

              gruesome all round.

                  ......

                  SPIN , SPIN , SPIN

                  THERE IS STILL NO STADIUM......

IT WILL STILL TAKE SO LONG TIME TO BE ALLOWED TO BUILD THIS NEW MODEL WITH 71.000 SEATS....

THEN THERE WILL HAVE TO BE A LOAN ON THAT - AND IT WILL PROBABLY BE ON KOP LTD., SO LFC WILL HAVE TO PAY A HUGE RENT (INTO G&Hs POCKETS).

STILL ONLY RELOAN TO PAY FOR THE INITIAL BUYING-SUM FOR LFC - AND TO RE-LOAN THE LOANS FROM BEFORE THEY TOOK OVER.

THIS WILL END UP LIKE THE CORINTHIANS-SITUATION - AND MSI WILL END UP TAKING OVER LFC.

... the only positive could be that we then can rent players like Tevez and Mascher.. for a short time...

Hang on that would mean we are building 60,000 seater with no room for expansion. I will give G&H credit for seeing through that disaster.

i'm still unsure where i am on things like the eseason ticket and the odd bit of merchandise i buy.

i don't really use the easeason, but as i now live overseas i've always seen it as an easy way to put some money in the club. to cancel it seems so petty, small and stupid and in the end i just end up hurting (no matter in how such a patheticaly small way) the club i love

mate, they've done **** all yet. if that 60k seater meant it would have been finished this decade and without crippling the club with 30million a year before we can even scratch our arses, let alone build the ****ing thing, then to be honest i'd have taken it

I'm pretty sure that they'll be regreting it now.

This has just been one big mess so far. I doubt very much we've seen the last of it though.
