This would work just fine where the fat **** comes from, where you don't get relegated by finishing last. We'd be lucky to stay mid-table which means reduced (if any) income from the asian market, a draw-down of tv monies, little chance of any silverware. The new ground might not even get full attendances, causing further reduction in turnover.

He can't afford to allow this to happen, yet I also cannot see where he is going to get the money to afford to bring in/keep the names needed to drive success season after season.

CTR on Rawk suggests otherwise and untill he says DIC have completely done a runner and Hicks is the main man then maybe we should just leave spec alone.

Does anybody agree there is significance in the fact that there has been no suggestion of Hicks making an offer for Gillett's 50%? If Hicks was as keen to hold onto his 50% as he says, wouldn't it be prudent to prepare a counter-offer to any that DIC/Gillett might make?

I don't think we should be surprised if Hicks is planning to make a counter-offer. It seems like a smart card to play at the negotiation table.

TBH I think there is so much upside for LFC that T&G will be here for the long-term. The issues they are facing are very short-term and we'll be throwing of cash left, right and center in the long-term.
