I dont claim to know what NYRed is on about but there are rumours ciculating in Liverpool financial sectors that Hicks has been hawking the entire club (or parts thereof) round every billionaire and his dog in the USA)

Apparently without success... maybe NY Reds info contradicts that, but thats what I have heard

I think NYR was suggesting that he was going to by out Gillets share.

If Hicks is doing this and cant find any buyers i feel that may leave him with one option as i dont think he will stay and DIC seem to the only active buyer.

I doubt Hiks could afford Gilletts 50% without selling one of his other 'franchise's' which won't happen. And i hope GG would never sell him his 50% anyways. Heard rumours that GG has 1st option on Hick's share but not vice versa.

I think it should be burned. It's traincrash tv stuff at the minute. You know that you shouldn't be looking but it's to compelling not too.

If someone could pull out all the news reports from the 130 pages then it would probably serve as an interesting timeline of how we came to be in this total ****ing mess. I'm guessing that it would take a while though, and when its finished DIC still wouldn't have put a bid in.

Maybe someone should start a thread with the title ' Dubai Intenational NOT To make bid for Liverpool'.

Then people could say " I've been told by an insider, that DIC, next week, or the next 2 day's.....Definately Wont make a bid for Hicks Shares, Nor even the whole club".
