Its hard to know Fredo, i see where youre coming from but you have to understand that this is a brash texan who doesnt give two ****s about what people think of him. Havent you ever seen Dallas? If he wants to stay he will stay and us fans wont change that. Previous denials were made through parry or from the official site. This would mean that they were board level approved denials. Off the top of my head I am thinking about the denial hicks was buying Roma, the split between hicks and gilette etc. If Hicks has released a statement from his own PR firm it would suggest to me that the board and parry were not included in the denial!!

Putting it a different way, if Parry came out and said straight that the club/Americans hasn’t been approached or will not be considering any bids then we could put this to bed.

What more do people want? A big banner hanging from the roof of the Kop saying those words? You can't get more official than Hicks' statement. Whether you believe him or not is another matter.

He isn't taking any ordinary club and the reality will hit him.

Don't forget that Gillett could cop out leaving DIC with 50% share. What will he do if that's the case ? DIC has all the tools in their hands. They could even wait to pounce but I understand Al Ansari wants to push in now to save the club long term.
