I would add that I'd like to see what they say about transfer budgets etc. if they do - that's where we need to be keeping up.
    Seconded

There is an incredible amount of doom and gloom on here. Wouldn't be surprised if we in one years time look back and laugh at this mammoth thread.

If G&H refinance the stadium etc. on reasonable terms and get the planning permission sorted then I really don't see us being run into the ground. In fact I suspect we would be run in much the way that any non-Abramovich type owner would run us. Obviously there is a big if in that statement but people are making judgments on the basis of confirmed PR mistakes and other than that nothing but rumour as far as I'm concerned.

I have strong reservations about G&H but I don't think they intend to ruin the club - just make money out of it (much the same as DIC will look to do).

I do worry that Rafa will leave if they continue but many people have said that we would have a better chance of winning the PL with another manager. I don't believe it and would be gutted if he left but teh club is bigger than any one man and the alternative point of view might turn out to be right.
Agree with most of that, now I have hd time to chill about it all and have a think about it, there is no way they want the club to depreciate in value, they will do everything in their power to make it more valuable.

Funny if it turned out Gillette was the real *******, after all he was the one who went in persuit of a football club, he really wanted to own one, Hicks might be more inclined to sell for a fast buck whereas Gillette want's long term ownership, & after this if he sells noone will want him near their club. Hicks been doing all the talking though. I dont believe this but it would be a real turn up.

Yeah, from now on we will need to make sure they deliver what they promise, not what the papers speculate but what they promise.

Complete aside, but recently learnt some management bobbins about 'the 4 stages of change', which are

              1. Disbelief and denial
              2. Anger and blame
              3. Reluctant Acceptance
              4. The final stage - commitment to the change, they start focusing on the future instead of dwelling on the past.

Basically everyone goes through these stages, but some people spend longer in stages 1 and 2 than others.

So, where do you think you are?!

I've jumped from 1-3, sidestepping 2. (although I guess it could all change if DIC really do come onto the scene)

I suspect Mr Cooper has hit stage 2 like a mother****er, but even he seems to have moved to 3 slightly....
              Quote of the year :

"With monkey me, dogface dishwasher bitch and chimp the ****ing champ you. We are turning into a raving party here arent we"

G&H won't invest much into the team. They will take the profits from the club themselves. It will be cheap signings.

Forget about the CL with G&H in charge. As long as we stay in the PL they will be happy. It would cost them more to sign players to keep up with the top clubs than it would if we missed the CL.

That is my take on it.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Do you bother to read posts at all. I have said a couple of times in the past couple of pages that I think we are stuck with them which I am not happy about. The only thing left now is to make sure they keep future promises. What else do you want me to do, become some kind of drama queen that says thay will never support the team while these guys are in charge. I love the club, I go most matches (my bro uses the ST for a couple of games a season), the club effects my mood and also my grandad (who was a steward and then worked on the gates until he was 80) would have been disgusted with me if I had even thought of walking away from the club. Don't try telling me I am in the wrong as we should all put supporting LFC before anything else regrding ownership.

Was in stage 1 for ages with Johnny, the Klinsmann stuff put me into satge 2 and have gone to stage 3 yesterday. Your post has just dragged me down again, thanks.

Are you saying you wont support them or wont support the club?
