    New snippits from the BBC:

The interest has now been seriously revived, but DIC is insistent it will not pay over the odds to buy the club, and until Gillett and Hicks agree to certain terms contained within the deal, an impasse has been reached.

Joe McLean, who is a football finance expert with accountants Grant Thornton, told BBC Radio Five Live: "The talk at the moment is that there will be some hard bargaining going on and it may take a few weeks before it is resolved."

DIC has put together a package of around £350m to put to Gillett and Hicks, which also includes taking on the debts incurred by the pair when they took control in March last year.

The Americans are currently attempting to finalise terms on a £350m loan that would enable them to repay money borrowed for their £218.9m takeover, repay loans used to sign players, and enable them to start work on a re-scaled plan for a new stadium in Stanley Park.

DIC hopes the offer would present the American duo with a get-out clause before they take out the massive loan.

McLean believes that bankers could try to encourage that to happen and he says that even if Gillett and Hicks do strike a refinancing deal, it would only be a prelude to them selling the club.

It seems a lot of the papers today are just repeating what the beeb said yesterday.

Moores and Parry might just as well have put us on Ebay.
I think the pertinant question is how they managed, or failed to manage the debt. How did they buy the club for just under £220 mil pay out £30 mil on Babel and Torres a total outlay of £250 mil yet have to re finance to the tune of £350 mil within under 12 months( not even taking into comsideration any recouped money from sales). What could Rafa have bought with that wasted £100 mil. If they are able to throw away £100 mil of our clubs money with nothing to show for it, in 12 months it doesn't bode well for the next 10 years if they stay in charge. I fear that the Leeds Utd fiasco would be forgotten in the huge collapse these muppets could creat for us.

Some may say better the devil you know but I for one hope the rumours come to fruition.

That money is required to make a start on the stadium.

And especially taken into consideration that DIC had spent some 1 month prior to that doing a due diligence!! It must raise a question of how someone could go in and do it in 1/10th of that!!

I wonder were the CL money went?

They took a loan to pay for the signings so it can't have been used to that.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

If they sign up for the new loans, it reduces their returns as the loans will have redemption penalties which the club will have to pay.

They have to sell and then not sign the loans. If they sign up for the refinancing, forget aout DIC because, at the very least, the banks will have to be paid a year's interest which could end up being between £20m to £30m. Can you see these ****ers giving up that amount of profit? I do not think so. Unless G&H love the club to give up £25m amount of profit.

The longer it takes them to sign the loans, the better.

If the DIC goes through, Parry's days are numbered.

Which would mean a £350 offer from DIC would still Give each of the muppets a £50 mil profit on the deal as they wouldn't need the money for the stadium would they. This makes me believe the revised figure could be correct. Heres hoping.

when the dust settles, he will be gone either way, if rumours are to be believed he is trying to right the wrongs, putting his own head on the chopping block in the process

That is a small price to pay for saving Liverpool FC from these numbnuts.
