Felt Skrtel improved massively in the second half. Had some good touches and looked far more assured.

Also there was a point in the when they were breaking and he caught the player like he was standing still. He is seriously quick, which is a bonus.

First half he was very shaky though, just nerves i suspect.

Don't rate Itanje(is that the spelling) though, you can see the players in front of him are not confident.

Pennant was the best player on the pitch today, IMO.
Switch off when not in use.

Never mind giving praise to Havant - we should have wiped the ****ing floor with them but we didn't have a ****in' clue.
That first 45 minutes was so shockingly bad - it was unreal. I reckon it's added another nail in Rafa's coffin.
Have to say that the team are doing nothing to keep Rafa in his job. Nothing. Only a trophy will do. Nothing less. This level of performance is now a regular thing. Granted we've played well at times this season but on the whole its very mundane. Just seems to be no passion, no confidence, and no urgency. The team seem to be treading water waiting for something. Well there ain't gonna be any more transfers this window and the season still has 4 months to run. The players need to buck their ****ing ideas up because I'm sure Rafa doesn't tell them to play like clueless zombies.

I am in favour of always playing the best team but Babel, Riise, and the rest should have been able to play better especially in that first half. Sadly it seems like our squad has no quality in depth. In fact it has no quality past the big five. Without Yossi today we'd have been no better than Derby.

This for me sums up Rafa perfectly. Over complicating everything he does. He won't change.

ther`s a real possibility that the team have decided together to put Rafa in the ****.Gerrards inability to support Rafa when openly questioned in the post match Villa game says alot.I`m not sure the team are fully behind Rafa.

So they are intentionally playing bad to get Rafa sacked? Is that what you are saying?

Lay off the manager and the CM tactics. Two strikers didn't work in the beginning. Rafa changed it, put Yossi in the centre and wallah! Hat-Trick.

Crouch was just disappointing again. Proved why he has not been starting.
I think he's getting rusty from lack of games.. he was OK at first and could come on and play well from cold, but I think it's affecting him now.

Your a very twisted, grumpy old man.i`m saying it`s possibe they don`t play like a team with full faith in Rafa which deminishes their ability on the pitch.i`m not sure the team are trying their best to dig Rafa out off the hole he`s in but I`m heading into AFII terrortority here.

Your going to pick holes in every post I make because I wanted a "Wait and see" policy with G+H which annoyed you.

Keep going with your pot shots, maybe you`ll hit someday.Personally I find you and the 20 other posters who keep biting my ankles because I dared not to condemn the Yanks as the Anti-christs until I had proof that this club was "Doomed".Personally,up until a few months ago I thought we had a Great Manager,New rich owners and Torres,Benni and BabeL added to the CL final team and thought we`d make a push for the PL this Yr.It hasn`t happened and that is either Rafa`s fault or possibly Gerrards.

The irony if Hicks and Gillett come out and say alls sorted we're 100% behind Rafer and the fans go get rid, why haven't you lined some one else up.

Likewise could an FA cup match save his job down the line and we go on and emulate what scum did
                              No we fecking wouldnt.

Today wasnt great, but balls to it, we're through...mission accomplished.

I had us on a -3 though, so THAT's what pissed ME off...

I couldn't give a **** what you want with G&H. Don't big yourself up too much. No one really cares what individual posters think.

Go and read your post which prompted my initial reply. You are the one alluding to the team playing badly on purpose not me. It was a simple enough clarification question. Clearly not simple enough.
