Thanjk you.

As you would expect Hicks said all the right things but as we all know he speaks with forked tongue. that doesn't mean everything he says is a lie but it does mean you can't believe anything he says.
In my view this is what we either know and can be fairky certain of.
1. The refinancing deal has heaped a shed load of debt on LFC, something G&H said they wouldn't do. If Moores and Parry had known this they wouldn't have sold the club to them.
2. DIC are still very much alive and kicking. The refinancing deal has given G&H time but DIC are still very much interested.
3. there is a substantial split betweeen G&H. We've heard nothing from G and foster has left Melwood.
4. Rafa's position looks a touch more stable but is still only a couple of poor results away from the boot.
5. The longer thisuncertainty off the pitch carries on the more it will effect the players on the pitch.
No offense but you do not get it do you. He has lied and this is a PR stunt. He is not trusted by many now and a staged speech on the radio isn't about to mend any wounds. It will take years for him to gain any form of respect from me.
Yes I do get it! And I fully understand that for very many it might be impossible to trust whatever he says again.
Personally I would rather see actions and hear fewer words!
I never said I trust him or Gilette and if DIC were in charge I'm not sure I'd trust their spokesfolk either.
All I said was, I don't get fans who ask for something, then, when they get it, flat out refuse to accept it.

I think you'll find that at least some of the people who are not satisfied by Hicks' performance this morning did not call for a statement of support for Rarfar anyway.
Now, until the break of day
Through this house each fairy stray.
To the best bride-bed will we,
Which by us shall blessed be;
So shall all the couples three
Ever true in loving be;
And the owner of it blest
Ever shall in safety rest.
Trip away; make no stay;
Meet me all by break of day
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

The time when they should have publicy backed Rafa they were running around talking to other managers. That's why no one is asking for public backing for Rafa now, becasue frankly no one would believe it and it would be meaningless.
I would love to tell you why neither he nor his spokesman wouldn't answer - but if I have to be around in 18 mths. time to prevent even more debt against the club (which in case only will be anything above, what we have as debt now according do Bascombe), then I have to keep my tie in my mouth and stay quiet.
No - we at the board - Moores, myself, Rafa, Gillett sr. and jr. don't beleive him, but we are unable to kick him out, as he has Mrs. Gillett in his basement in Texas, so the businesspartner-thing is more a hostage-thing....
.... what else to say - above all - he is not a Rover....

True!
All I'd like to see is some consistency in attitude I suppose.

I'm guessing that was Oberon?
I'm not much of student of the Bard to be fair, my user name refers to my job!
Dhavlos.
Fair call

Why did Hick's refuse to talk about how the debt interest to Kop Holdings was to be serviced in this interview?
Why did Hick's spokensman during the press conference to announce the re-financing also refuse to answer the question - in fact looked very flustered?
Why did Hick's lie about the initial negotiations with DIC before christmas, when today he's admitted that talks did take place?
What happens in 18 months time when we have to re-finance again? Will even more debt be loaded onto the club?
Why the ****, given the balance of evidence, does anyone believe a word this prick is saying?
It couldn't be more obvious that one-way-or-another, he is trying to **** us over and I despair that any self-respecting Liverpool fan will give Hicks enough benefit of the doubt to take his words at face value.
It's not good because it's rude. It's good because it looks like it's good because it's rude.

Really? I had you marked down for King of the Fairies.

Which posts/posters did you trust and which did you dismiss?
I dont really see how this is relevant to anything being discussed here, but I read what everyone has posted on this thread about what he said, and I was willing to take it at face value seeing as it was fellow Reds saying and also seeing as everyone was in agreement about what Hicks said.
