If every Liverpool fan that smokes gave up and put the money they saved in a combined bank account we would be on our way there.

Also Pacman could give up lard sandwiches.

The combined total would be more than enough.

We don't need the smokers to give up.
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

this is getting bloody ridiculous now.

Having said that I would like to put Charliemanson forward for the position of CEO - not because of his amazing finance, negotiation or planning skills.

I'd just like to see him give Rick Parry the kicking of his life.

Lets just say that *I think* it's not a new group at all. Nothing too substantial to back this up mind. part from a few bits and pieces

So do you think it may be an "L4" type consortium then, possibly backed at least partly by Kraft?

You're not on about L4 or the likes are you?

I remember your "DIC or some other form of DIC" comment

Is David Moores about to regain control of the club he sold 1 year ago ?

Is it a push to DIC (from parry and moores) to get their arses moving ?

Is it Hicks and Gillett trying to drive up the asking price ?

The permutations are endless - ok three ....
