I too am disappointed by the numbers. Hopefully they can use some of the feedback they have received to push on and really market this. So far its come across as a bit pie in the sky IMHO.

thats very low in my opinion. Expected a LOT more than that to have broken their server.
They were on a shared, and probably massively oversold, server when the site launched. Not really a surprise it went down. 10k what? 10k hits? 10k visits? 10k unique visits?

Just under 50,000 people from 149 countries visited the site between February 1-4.

Organisers said the website crashed within minutes of opening last Thursday, due to huge numbers trying to reach the site.

So that's 50,000 not including all those who couldn't get on the site whilst it was down on launch day and the day after - when you would expect traffic to peak.

Not so bad really, shame about the server though

tbh, I don't think it says much about the people behind the site. They want 100,000 people to chip in 5k, so you would expect more than 100k to look at the site in the first few days, cos you're not going to get a 100% success rate when making a pitch.

Correct me if I'm wrong but they don't appear to have had other methods of getting in touch, a PO box, telephone option, text option etc.

If they can't get that right, 1st impressions being crucial, what hope have they of running a multi million pound business, which like it or not is what LFC is?

Lovely idea, but it looks pie in the sky stuff at the moment.
