I have to say I would be really surprised if DIC were involved in your stalking horse scenario as they have wanted the club from day 1.

Nice thought though. There were some murmurings about a consortium interested in Liverpool that would be made up of Liverpool Fans a few months back but nothing seemed to come of it.

Miskelly, and a few others including Michael Howard were involved, Morgan was mentioned too but since then he has purchased Wolves or is involved with them in some way.

I can exclusively reveal that Koptalk owner and all round (!!!) good guy Dunk 'wheely bin' Oldham is in talks to buy the club even as we speak. So far his fund of £2.37 and a bag of minstrels is somewhat short of the asking price, but he has assured us that contributions from his various charitable trust could be used if needed. 'All im waiting for is a call from the U.S. giving me the go ahead' , he announced from his office/shed today. ' although if this drags on any longer it'll be teatime and the deals off'..........
