It's all messy, nobody can be sure of anything. That's why i'm not sure of the significance of your 90 day point.

hicks is basically holding all the cards at the mo as he has initiated to gillete that he wishes to take up the share option (within the set time frame) so hicks will have that time to find investors to buy those shares.

theres no point in gg negotiating with dic at the mo as until hicks's time frame runs out his hands are tied.

have just posted this on the other thread and thought it was worth reposting... I just rang the number for Tom Hicks on this forum amd this is what I got............

I kid you not - I have just rang that number and I said I was calling from SkySports News and I was hoping for an interview with Tom Hicks for the channel.

The receptionist put me through to his secretary and she asked who I was and I said I was Dan Roan calling from SkySports News in London.

She told me the statement which Tom put out in the last few minutes is how things stand. She also told me that as she explained to me LAST WEEK when we spoke all contact should be made through FINANCIAL DYNAMICS IN LONDON AND YOU SHOULD SPEAK TO JONATHAN BRILL ON 0207 269 7170.

Now who the hell is this guy?

I dont know how hes going to persuade DIC to inject capital without him dilluting his holding or matching that financial outlay himself

So whilst I'm certain he can see the massive profits on the horizon its like the donkey and the carrot stick, just a bit out of reach

IMO for Hicks to realise his massive profits he will have to accede more control and possibly more of his stake OR pump in money himself

Agree, Working capital aside, the next large bit of funding is for the stadium build out. I think he will still be looking to finance that on the basis of future revenues and hence his max short-fall is going to be interest payments until the build is complete. If he takes that approach he should still be able to avoid diluting his holding too much and hence should get a good share of future profits.

In the end, one person must have responsibility for making decisions. It
has been very difficult for George and me to agree on things (Klinsmann)
and DIC wanted their people to have an equal vote on things like keeping
Rafa (I will), signing players and managing the business.

The Club has not been run very well for a long time now. I intend to fix
