it's all down to a mistake that has lasted well over a decade.
Lets just get on with the job and see how it pans out at the end.

Absolutely, even in the mid 90's we still managed to pay out a then club record fee for Collymore. And whilst we were "expanding" the Anfield road end, Manure had over 55,000 seats at Old Toilet. Our day will come, but how frustrating and short-sighted.

We dont have any global marketing or merchandising. We have people who look at the offal site and think we've been out of stock for the last decade. Shops around the world...(Shops in the UK FFS) will have racks of Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, Barcelona, Real, Inter, Italy, Holland, Argentina and Brazil shirts etc and no LFC kit to be seen!!

I really though the yanks would have sussed this by now, but no! Our products simply aren't on shelves to anywhere near the degree of other teams. I even spent over an hour trying to find a fake one at a market in Brazil, I eventually found 1 shirt, 1 out of probably 500 fake UK shirts on sale. I've never seen an official LFC shirt on sale in brazil ever!!

                  FFS. You waking up now.

Surely its Rafa's rotation, or its his preference for the CL.

I hope everyone has a good look at those turnover figures before they decide Rafa has to go. I've been saying it for months that the financial margin has got bigger now that Arsenal are in the big league.

When we go shopping for the best of talent this year we have to pray none of the big Euro clubs (including the big 3 above) are in because they can all afford more than us.

I acknowledge that to win the league, rafa's hands are tied somewhat.

But the problem isnt JUST about not having enough money to spend. Neither is it JUST about rotation.

Having said that, he HAS spent £150m and even with the expensive players he HAS bought, he doesnt always make the best use of them.

Whether he's been backed enough to win the title is debatable, but he's sure as hell had enough money to make a top four finish a walk in the park...except, it isnt, is it?

The charts bollocks, It doesn't take into account DEBT, Man Utd are clearly the club in most debt, yet according to chart they are the second "Richest Club" in the world, Chelsea will also struggle to ever make profit, it's just a useless peice of information which is released around the same time every year. (We also shouldn't be where we are in the chart with the debt now lumbered on us!)

Not yet no. But considering you seem to be in a more "deep and meaningful" mode perhaps you can see the folly of giving up and changing managers so quickly. After all, he may finish 4th yet, and he just might win the CL.

In other words, if we PAY him off just remember there is no gaurantee of title challenge, in fact no gaurantee of CL qualification. Just as importantly though, if we qualify for the CL you better hope we miss coming up against Rafa's team.

Why? Becasue he is the best, as we already know.

Sorry mate, but 'he may finish 4th' isnt exactly a ringing endorsement. 4th is the most bare minimum, of minimum requirements. And it's also the same as where we were when he arrived. No real progress then...

"The best" manager would be finishing top 4 with his eyes closed.

A good summary I wish it was that clear cut!

If you expect the LFC manager to make a silks purse from a sow's ear and If the only progress you can identify is final league positions.

If you can assess a squad, see the quality of football and count trophies then quite a bit of progress has been made. Any better than 4th is a big overachievement, or is it you who's living in the past?

So you say. If we get a change of manager and no change in funds, just wait.
