A Little song for Dirk Kuyt

I don't know what it is with Kuyt. His workrate is phenonomal, probably the best I've seen tbh.
I'd just like to see him hogging the goal for a change. I don't think he's been given an order by Rafa to track back like that because there really is no need for him to do so I think he just does it because that's the type of player he is. I know Torres works hard as well but if anyone that should be doing this job it should be Torres with his pace and strength and not Kuyt.
I still belive that he'll become a Liverpool legend, just a feeling you know. There's something there that tells me he's going to be. I personally would hate it if he was gone. He's an LFC player through and through, his graft and non stop work rate will see him through.
Kind of think I'm alone on this!

You know what, I was sooooo ****ing happy when he scored. Obviously I was ****ing happy, but I thought he had played so well, and thoroughly deserved it. I have slagged Kuyt as much as anyone recently, but I give credit when it is due, and I was made up when he scored.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostKind of think I'm alone on this!

People forget his all action debut for us. It was brilliant. The guy's confidence has been shot this year, absoloutly torn to pieces and the abuse he's had has been shocking, no one deserves that.Originally posted by Reece View PostYou know what, I was sooooo ****ing happy when he scored. I've got maximum faith in Dirk Kuyt. The fans that applauded him and tapped him on the shoulder as walked down the tunnel will fill him with self belief and confidence. Players are just like us, they feel down and suffer from bad confidence just like we do. We need to back him instead of gettin on his back, he's a good player and he will prove this to us.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. When the workrate is combined with an end product, you can see what the guy is supposed to be about.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostI don't know what it is with Kuyt. His workrate is phenonomal, probably the best I've seen tbh.

In game like that one tonight you see just what he does bring to a team. The man's commitment and desire is phenomenal, nobody that gives what he gives should ever be subjected to the concerted campaign of abuse he's suffered this season. Criticism yes, but some of the rest has just been unpleasant. He certainly hasn't performed up to par in a lot of games, especially when its come to finishing, but tonight I thought he did a great job, switching positions, putting in good balls, running tirelessly and stretching what was a very compact and solid defence. And he never, ever. hides.
I'm not that sure it will go the way you think, or that ultimately, we can't do better in terms of inate quality; I'd love it to but he needs a serious run of good luck and form right now to get it together which I'm not convinced he'll have, but that game was right for him, and he did a great job.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

No one changed shirts with Kuyt
Did anyone see Kuyt go up to an Inter player to swap shirts and the Inter player was startled then, panickingly, pointed at a make-believe Liverpool player somewhere in the distance that he'd promised to swap with earlier.
Kuyt pointed at him and smile as he backed away saying I know what you're doing. Poor old Kuyt was the only Liverpool player entering the tunnel with a Liverpool shirt on.
Everyone knows about Kuyt now (how we going to flog him?)
One tit for another.

Kuyt hasn't been as **** as Smicer though.Originally posted by rage View Postkuyt deserved his luck, at least he was in the box which is most people's biggest criticism of him. still not good enough for me though, smicer had the game of his life in istanbul, still got sold for all them **** games he had b4 then though.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. Reading too much into it, the Inter Milan player whom he wanted to swap shirts with likely did in fact have a deal to swap with another Liverpool player.
Not as if he was going around asking the whole Inter team like, was it?"Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

I know, this was supposed to be tongue in cheek. Despite what others might say (and flog me for) Kuyt was my man of the match tonight.
Never, ever, did I thought I'd say that this season.
His runs down the right wing in the first half had Milan bricking it while having 11 players on the pitch. Also did the one thing other players, including Torres, were not able to do and was vital: Find The Net.One tit for another.
