Yeah very underrated player by our own fans of all things.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

He was a really good player in what was a terrible team at the time.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He wasn’t underrated by me! I thought he was great, still do. I was saying in the Jota thread that I think he’s the one Diogo reminds me of most. Both very valuable members of the team.

I know we want to forget that we signed him, but I didn't realise Andy Carroll was now at Reading, scored for them today apparently

The great transfer inflation is the best thing to have happened as far as that transfer is concerned.

£35m sounds like a reasonable punt in today's transfer market.

I think he signed this month. Was a free agent so not constrained by the transfer window.

Well, interestingly they played him uptop, rather than as often in the past as on the right of the two in a 4-3-2-1. His strength is his finishing; his weakness was (I don't know now because I haven't seen him play for so long) was his link-up play, so uptop ought to suit him.

So in a year & a half they’ve only just worked this out ? they deserved to be relegated if they’re that thick

Deserves more than to be stuffed into this thread but there's reports Ray Kennedy has died.

Yip had just seen that alright..... he is like Ray Clemence in that he is such a LFC legend that you almost forget that he played for another big club as well.

Ray Kennedy won the double for Arsenal before joining LFC.

                          RIP
