The number of possible draws, if you want all combinations of home-away and draw orders of matches, is of course 8!.Originally posted by Cacodemon View PostOk then, he didn't call it spot on. So you're right 105.
However, if my assumption had been correct, I'd have been right!!!!
If you only include home-away order it's 16*105=1680

Yes, clearly it would as it would improve our chances of getting through. We're still in it though.Originally posted by Fan65 View PostBloomin Aida !!!!
We had 3 out of 7 chance of getting a Premier league team or 43% probability
So what's the problem ?
Even if it was a fix what difference will it make. Drawing a so called weaker team like the Barnsley of the bunch would be better would it?
Be positive , we meet Barca in the final.

How could they prove it's a fix then?
We are going to come up against a good team at some point. That's what it's all about.

We are not talking about LFc. just combinations, so you pick one first, doesnt matter who but then there are 7 options. After that they have to pick one first, anyone, but after that there is 5 options. After that they have to pick one, anyone, but there is 3 left.Originally posted by Cacodemon View PostLFC weren't picked out of the hat first, so you can't say
lfc v ??, 7x5x3x1 - unless it really is Friday afternoon and I've taken a turn for the worse...
After that it is already known who will play who.
105 is the correct answer.
