    If the "guess" was

    12 34 56 78

    and they came out

    12 34 56 78

    Then that has to 8! as, 12 56 78 34 isn't the same.

Slightly less impressive, but still a ****ing good guess.

1/1068 chance of guessing it, which is better than the stupidity tax. However the odds of posting it in the way it was posted (i.e. this is the fixed draw), 1.5 hours before the draw and being correct must be astronomical

    As there are four games.

    Therefore:

    1,680 permutations
1680 permutations. What a bally good guess that was then, eh! Cor. Great guess.

I think it's naive to think UEFA wouldn't fix a draw like this.

Well thanks to your 'Mathsterbation' we know its pretty unlikely to have been a lucky guess!

    Which explains the four team.

    4!/2! = 12

Possibly 4! as this would account for the number of different orders in which each set of ties could be drawn. But that's a guess

    Beat me to it ^^^

Plus arsenal and Liverpool could have come out second to last and last, rather than first and second. Same draw, but a different permutation...
