WOuld say Reina is the best goalie i've seen live and i started going late 70's.
He's our 5th defender and anyone going to matches would notice the difference when he plays and how the defence don't have to watch thier backs to when he doesn't play.

I do think he could of been better positioned for the goal or even come out for it, but 1st thought was he's been told not to go for the 50/50 with tuesday's game being more imoprtant.
and the best goalie in the world will make the odd mistake, just like the best striker will miss a sitter and the best midfielder will pass to the oposition.

Why? Back up your statement. You don't think an average keeper could rack up a lot of clean sheets if he has a wall in front of him? well he could, it's perfect sense. If Reina was as good as some think he is he'd be winning proper awards. Awards that reward him for performances rather than a collective performance. and he'd also be Spains no. 1.

The reason I didn't respond to that was because it is irrelevant to my point. There may not be anyone better at "doing what he does" as a whole package but I've never disputed that. Although, if i thought about it, I'm sure I'd come up with a few, but like I said that's Irrelevant to my argument because I have only made 2 points in this thread:

1. I think he's over rated but still a good keeper

2. I think that award he has got is down to the team as a whole and not down to Reina alone.

So what's the problem with that? supposedly that makes me some sort of asshole to some people. Am I not allowed to think that?

You'll see my second post on the thread says that he is a brilliant keeper. He is. You don't keep 54 clean sheets in 100 games by being ****. I rate him up there with the best.

However, he does seem to be lacking a bit of confidence at the moment going into a critical part of the season. On a few occasions of late he's stopped coming out for crosses which are quite clearly his.

Some people get worked up way too easily on here
