Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

There is one guy to look out for called Jaimie Kanwar, who might go under various guises. He's a supposed Red who runs a blog called liverpool-kop, which is basically just him and a few other weird bitter types writing ridiculously negative article after article about the club and individual players, most notably Stevie Gerrard, who he genuinely hates.

He's been banned off just about every LFC forum there is, which goes someway to explain his blog. Have a look sometime, it's a real eye opener.

Oh, and that Skillz is an idiot.
So good to have you back, albeit temporarily no doubt.:bird:

Your still the only one in this thread who doesn`t think Reina is a World class goalkeeper.Your obsession with My changing of usernames seems to have deflected away from the fact that youv`e no idea about football and goalkeepers.

Don`t forget to throw dafurf into you next answer.

Expect lots of crosses from Eboue and Clichy.

Theyll also try and get corners as much as possible

                  Gonna be nerve wrackin

Form is temporary Class is permanent, Reina is Class, in all the time he's played for us this is the first "bad patch" he's had. He's made mistakes in 2 games. That's a decent record all keepers make mistakes at some point
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                      Reina will be imperious, relax

Van der Sar has made his fair share.

He's definately made some howlers in past season's too though.

Just to make it clear I do think he's a class keeper.

Unfortunately, although he doesn't drop too many clangers, a high proportion of his mistakes have come in important games:

Chelsea in the FA Cup Semi Final,
West Ham in the Cup Final,
Everton in last year's 3-0 commemorative DVD match
                            Man Utd the other week,
                            and Arsenal last time out.

Cech, on the other hand, is probably responsible for just as many goals, but they're usually in less high profile games, or have had little impact on the result. Actually, that was true of Schmeichel as well, now I come to think of it.

Reina is still, to my eyes, the best keeper we've had since Clemence, particularly in terms of anticipating danger and adopting an effective starting position. Worryingly though (and speaking as someone who played in goal for over 20 years) his recent uncertainty on crosses is likely to be preying on his mind - it's important that he gets a clean catch in or makes a decisive punch early on to boost his confidence. And if he manages to clatter into Adebayor and Gallas in the process, so much the better.
                            Screaming from beneath the waves...

Another ****ing shocking goal conceeded by Reina there. World class my arse.

Come on the Redmen, crouchy for 2

I wouldn't say it was "shocking". More unfortunate that the ball bounced in.
