Surely you do?! His disgraceful inability to kick a football with his right foot. Shocking really. His one-footedness has been a major bug-bear of mine (and many others) for some time and now we’ve seen just how costly this can be.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

i was screaming out as kalou was on the right 'dont let him cross it, don't let him cross it.

to be fair to jar, masher is as much at fault from a defending perspective. the commentators for once got it right when they said that the ball was one of those that are terrible to defend. risk slicing it with your wrong foot, let it go only for an attacker to get on the end of it, the height of it after the bounce. it was a tough decision.

at the end of the day, we had more than enough chances to put the tie out of reach and for poor finishing cost us. the tie is not over and i was convinced that at 1-0 we'd still have to score at the bridge.

we play better when we have a challenge to rise to. we'll do it.

That's very true mate, I forgot how one footed he is, it's disgraceful.

he shoudl spend more time working on his right foot kicking than sending texts

He could have let the ball hit him in the nuts, pepe would have picked it up and we'd have been fine. Anything but head it in the top corner.

Agreed, get him on and he'll terrorise that left wing, bad mistake but it happens, just have to show chelski what we're made of and get them at home!

i think this will work in our favour and we'll beat chelsea to end their unbeaten at home record.

torres, riise will be hungry as fook to make amends for missed chances and that blunder.

plus the whole team has a clear focus. we must win there.

as ever tho, its the small details so we have to be extremely solid at take our chances.

I feel pretty sorry for the lad, he had a split second to make a decision as the ball came over and he made the wrong one. Just one of those things but winning at Stamford Bridge will make number 6 all the better.

                            We come not to play.

He isn't good enough I agree but he gives 100% and has been a good servant through the years. I think if last night has showed us anything it's that ginger people definately have no souls but Riise has a red heart so I could never actually hate him for a mistake.

Some of the comments on this thread are a disgrace.

Riise made a mistake and it happens. Yes it's a sucker punch and yes, we're all fecked off but for Christ's sake, he didnt MEAN it, he wasnt TRYING to score an own goal.

I dont particularly rate him and i would've brought on Finnan and played Arbeloa at LB, but that's by the by. The lad has served the club for a long time, mostly he's done fairly well and he doesnt deserve some of the vitriol on here. I'll put it down to heat of the moment, but in reality, some people should be ashamed.

My feelings from last night are gutted at how it happened, but immensely proud of the lads for dominating a £350m team.
