How is Rafa to blame for the hopelessness of our previous managers. He has come into a club in all sorts of bother, and had to remove other managers ****e. He cant do this all at once, it takes time for methods to take effect.Originally posted by DJS View PostYou do realise we've spent the same as the mancs in the PL era?
**** off with this **** mate, your argument is flawed

To be fair, the question i posed on that thread re zonal marking was precisely that, just a question, it certainly wasnt a 'dig' but then some people may as well just draw their conclusions about what i've said without actually bothering to read my postsOriginally posted by Operation View PostZonal Marking; can't be questioned becasue it's a dig at the manager and just a repetition, as other threads have also had a 'dig' at the manager
People seem to think it's open season on DJS, because it's DJS. Well if you don't like hearing other people's opinions, such as that Rafa won't won the PL, then **** off and talk to yourself in the ****ing mirror you sancimonious gits.

Still nothing...
As i've said plenty of times, rafa will make mistakes, like anyone. He IS too cautious in my opinion, sometimes it'll be what wins you something, other times it costs you. And as i also said, you take him as he is, or not at all.
Seems like you either pretend he gets everything right, or you're 'slating'/'blaming' him for everything

How is our spend the same as Manu?
RVN 19m
Veron 28m
Ferdinand 30m
Rooney 27m
Hargreaves 16m
Carrick 18m
Nani 14m
Anderson 18m
Tevez circa 20m
how many players have we bought within those price brackets? Whilst Manu had a base core built around a young team inherrited from and exceptional academy crop Giggs, Scholes, Nevilles, Beckham etc... they could afford to spend big on one or two big names players whilst we were on a rebuilding merry go round post Dalglish. I fail to see how any of that is Rafa's fault and I'm still stunned that he guided us to our 5th european cup with some of the rubbish he inherrited from Houlier.

You've indirectly implied it by saying we should take into account what our previous managers have spent when stating how close we should/shouldn't be to man utd. I don't see the relevance of our spending over the whole Premiership era.Originally posted by DJS View PostOh feck off with your shoddy mind-reading skills harvey, do i feck imply it
Dont go round having a pop at me for what you THINK i'm trying to say.

everytime we lose a game, its almost a dead set cert that you will come on here and sprout some ****e that we will never challenge for the title under Rafa, that we have spent as much as Man Utd...therefore should be challenging. You say this, yet totally disregard the FACT that we had a much weaker squad than them, alot less stability, and less match winners.Originally posted by DJS View PostOh feck off with your shoddy mind-reading skills harvey, do i feck imply it

Rafa has improved us. You cannot possibly deny it, and we are very close to challenging for the title. If we had of gotten results against the "big 3", we would be challenging, which proves the point."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
