Ronaldo scored 4, 5 and 9 league goals in his first three seasons -- then 17 and 31 in his next two, according to Tompkins.Originally posted by FatTony View PostThis will be his 3rd season for us, not his first. Nothing will change, he'll still work hard, but he'll still not be of the quality required for an attacking player at LFCIf we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Throw in some penalties and who knows he could be challenging Torres.
Never in the history of football has a guy so ugly worked so hard. He deserves everything he gets in life, be it one up the arse or one in the net so to speak.
I'm having money on him as top scorer at the euro's. He'll surprise a few.
Kuyt to be crowned Queen Kuyt this time next year.
Last nights final proved that ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING is possible in life

Very good

I love Kuyt to bits but he will go down in Liverpools history as a Folk Hero like Igor and Vlad.
ALWAYS tried his best, gave 150% for the cause but just not good enough imo. That's my new book. 'Shut the **** Up, by Dr. Denis Leary'. Patients come in. 'Doctor I-' Shut the **** up! NEXT!! 'Doctor, I've got this-' SHUT THE **** UP!! NEXT! 'He made me feel so much better. He just told me to shut the **** up. Nobody ever told me that before!'

but Ronaldo always had pace, creativity and superb ball skills. He was also brought into Manu at a young age, a player very much developing.Originally posted by RedReet View PostRonaldo scored 4, 5 and 9 league goals in his first three seasons -- then 17 and 31 in his next two, according to Tompkins.
Kuyt on the otherhand is 27/28, has no pace, limited skills and limited potential. A daft comparison really.
"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."
I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

please - stop it man, you're emabarrassing yourself. Utd's winger is Ronaldo who scored 31 league goals this season. Our "winger" is Kuyt a "converted" centre forward with no pace who was put out there to take the pressure off him because he wasn't scoring any goals.
Yes he "works hard" but I think it's somewhat unlikely he will single-handedly topple Sir Alex from his throne.Monkey Tennis

Dont think that is the case at all, Rafa clearly wanted to play 4231 and there was no way he would get to play the main striker with Torres in the team. I think Rafa always had Kuyt playing out there from the start of the season. I still think he was doing a great job there at the end of the season and with an attacking fb he would be well worth his spot in the team.

As for comparing him to Ronaldo, he is a foreigner in the Premier League playing right wing / forward. It wouldn’t make much sense to compare him to someone like David James. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
