Well Bob, whether you're being serious or not(I hope you're not because it's a seroiusly insulting accusation), you've missed the point. I have no problem with Islam or Muslims, but I do have a problem with Saudi Arabia's laws and human rights record.

As for the Winston quip, well again you're wrong. However, Winston Churchill did fight persecution so you are right on that front.

I'm not suggesting you or anyone else are Islamophobic. I didn't question mark the Qur'an statement on purpose. I was merely alluding to the fact that the Qur'an and Saudi law are stringently linked.

OK Tom, fair enough, but I'm not really that interested in churchill, I rejected the comparrison Bob made because I don't like the man. I was simply saying in my opinion the persecution demonstrated by Saudi Arabia is wrong in my opinion and the only similarity between myself and Winston is that angle.

Fredi Kanoute has reached an agreement with Sevilla to wear a sponsorship-free shirt for the foreseeable future.

Sevilla recently signed a shirt sponsorship deal with online casino 888.com, but Kanoute covered up the logo with tape during the recent UEFA Super Cup final against Barcelona because gambling is outlawed by the Muslim faith.

The ex-Tottenham striker told the Daily Mirror: "Gambling is the work of Satan. It is forbidden by the Koran and I will not play in a shirt that promotes it.
