Thanjk you.
Paul.S
Should have saved £7m that he spent on him and put it towards a better signing in later seasons
Rafa sales of players he has bought is in the black. He has importantly rebuilt the squad quite cannily by buying and selling "cheap players" as gap fillers.
Why? because the most important stat is the wage bill not the transfer fee andRafa had a lot of ****e on big wages that we could not give away.
Seriously it needs to be taken into context. Le tallec only just finished his 6th year FFS
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24
reading wasn't a mistake it was downright embarrassing
If you referring to Rafa being told his job rested on Marseille. Tell me how a board could Sack Rafa on his CL performance at that point? It has no basis in Football so just put yourself in Rafa's shoe's for a second.
He's working for numpty's

Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

The game sandwiched between the CL Marseille game and the PL ManUre game???
Rafa also put out a very decent team that night against Reading and the TEAM failed.
i remember reading, and in the context of rafa 'i only concentrate on the next game' and 'one game at a time' benitez he showed how much crap those sentiments were.
firstly, the game itself - he gave up! never in my life have i seen a liverpool team give up that way.
secondly, for all those who thought the champions league decider was more important - he got himself in that pickle by playing the likes of leto in earlier games and dropping points.
and finally - yes his job was may have been on the line but if we'd been competing in the league this would not have been the case.
we complain about mourinho whilst at chelsea but rafa has very similar traits.

i know he got to the semi final johnny, i was there! but early on he ****ed about with the team and it cost us both in the league and europe. after a while he had no alternative but to play a weakened team in one situation and save his best for the other.
whether you like chelsea or not in their style of play at least they have a consistency about them that we don't seem to discover until about February and its too late.
do you think rafa will play this year with a consistent team of players regularly playing in positions they're used to? i know barring injuries the other 3 pretty much will.

Rafa got you there.****ing about or not he got you there, the team and the club there.
Fergie got manU there while ****ing about.
Chelsea spent more than any club in English history and won no big cups last yr.
Stats tell us that Fergie rotated more than Rafa last yr.
rafa got us where exactly last year? go on remind me, your also being rather selective of your judgement of chelsea. unproven manager still gets to the last game of the league with a chance and the last kick of a penalty shootout with a chance.
as for fergie he may have rotated players but he didn't rotate formation or style of play. both these teams are ahead of us for more reasons than just money.
