Remember the Fulham game in his first season. That was the one for me.

Hardly a sin for which he should be lynched though and certainly far less severe than many on here would claim he'd said.

We'll have to agree to disagree. There have been numerous occasions over the last couple of weeks where he has been on about selling Alonso in public. He has resorted to doing all his transfer dealings in public which is wrong. Then says people blame him for global warming.

He's conducting business the Real Madrid way not the Liverpool way

I know where you are coming from and to an extent agree. Rafa has some "idiosyncrasies", which I won't elaborate on as it'll just be fodder to the anti-rafa virus that has installed itself in this forum S/W, but I think the way those who have been doing our transfer business have conducted themselves, have put one of Rafa's primary weaknesses unecessarily in the spotlight and that is currently blinding us to all else.

Whether this is Rafa's fault or Parry's i don't know but what i do know is the club has unsettled a player that may turn out to be key for us in the next couple of weeks and in the long term that helps no-one.
Nonsense. Have you missed the Berbatov, Kaka, Robhino stuff this summer? If Ramos was as camp as MON about it, the Berbatov situation could have gone the same way as the Barry one.

Spurs and Norwich for me, don't think he missed one single pass in both games.

The Manager should be allowed to buy and sell whoever he wants, whenever he wants.

                      I don't think that's possible, or sensible.

I have to agree with you on this one to an extent. I'm not overly happy with the way rafa has conducted his transfer dealings this summer. The Alonso situation in particular could have been handled a lot better. Disappointed somewhat with Rafa.

                              Xabi just scored for Spain.
Even if his recent form still doesn't convince Rafa, it proves he's at least worth the £16m Rafa wants.
