I'm not saying this purely because you are negative against Rafa, as I know the other so called negative guys such as Sarb and rage would have been cheering as loud as anyone when Gerrard's winner. You however seemed to make a hasty exit from here as it meant you couldn't really continue with your agenda.
Are you part of the RCDNW group?

Only joking - Good morning Reece.

I spilled everything and started hugging an unknown woman when Gerrard scored, nowt beats last minute winners! I am just on a downer about Rafa.

Not at all. There is plenty he does I disagree with, just a lot more that I do agree with.

          Jesus.

I don't think we'll know what we've got until some get their way and its gone.

No Rafa, no Torres, Mascher or Reina, Dumb and Dumberer appointing Sam Allardyce or Kevin Keegan, no Champions League, no money, no success, no nothing.... but maybe a bit of pretty football. The grass is not always greener, and its ****ing time some of our fans stopped thinking it is and acting like we have a divine right to sweep all before us and have some Harlem globetrotter-esque team playing total football. Nice thought that would be. we just don't, and we need to stop acting like petulant children about it.

Josemi- £2m. Needed a right back but had no cash, so went for a cheap alternative for Finnan. Got the money back.
Nunez- First team signing my arse.
            Garcia- Very good signing.
            Alonso- Excellent signing.
Pellegrino- Brought in for nothing to cover for Hyypia and Carragher. Traore was first choice backup then wasn't he?
Morientes- Nobody argued with that signing. It just didn't work out. Rafa's only "mistake
            Carson- Great money making signing.
Barragan- First team squad my arse.
Zenden- Came in for free, was cover for CM and LM.
            Reina- Magnificent singing.
Sissoko- Very good signing. Sold for profit. Was surplus once we signed a better player in Mascherano.
Crouch- Excellent signing, once again sold for profit once we got a better player and he had no place in the team (Torres).
Gonzalez- The guy cost us £1.5m and was sold for profit. It's not like we had an option to sign a £20m rated left winger.
Kromkamp- Swapped for Josemi when needed a back up for Finnan. Sold for same amount.
            Agger- Superb signing.
Martin- First team squad my arse.
Fowler- Nothing wrong with that signing.
Bellamy- Good signing. Needed two strikers when only had about £15m to spend on them. Do I honestly need to remind you our "strike force" back then? Sold for profit a season later.
Paletta- First team squad my arse.
            Aurélio- Good signing for free.
Pennant- We didn't have £15m to spend on Alves. He had a good first season and we'll sell him for around to same amount we paid. And you love him, don't you?
Kuyt- Good signing. I personally don't rate him much, but a poor signing he's not. Far from it.
            Arbeloa- Good signing.
            Mascherano- Magnificent signing.
Lucas- Great potential, will become a very good player.
Leto- First team squad my arse.
            Torres- Best signing since Barnes.
Voronin- Got for free when needed a 4th choice striker. Didn't work out, will be sold for profit.
Benayoun- Good signing, and if we wanted to we could have sold him for profit this summer.
Babel- Not enough time to judge but he'll be a good signing. Better than your Quaresma bloke. Why aren't anyone in for him?
Itandje- First team signing my arse.
Insúa- He's just potential, and has a lot of it.
            Skrtel- Excellent signing.
Degen- Haven't played one game. Free.
            Dossena- Too early to judge.
            Cavalieri- Can't judge.
Ngog- Can't judge, but looked a bargain in pre-season.
Keane- Too early to judge, but showed that Rafa isn't looking to spend his money on "squad players".

Liverpool Football didn't exist before Rafa came?

Players on long term contracts will suddenly leave, the river Mersey will over flow, Anfield will crumble.

Nobody wants the globetrotters, we want a style of play in line with our traditions and one that resembles pass and move football not one where every player is under instruction to stop the oppositon first and break up the play all game.

I didn't ask for a blow by blow account, is said they were all first team squad members, Nunez for example came on in the CL semi final! Josemi was a sub in the final.

My point was to somebody who said we need MORE players for Rafa's style to come through, which is rubbish.

We could play like Arsenal and win nothing in four seasons.

Kuyt was involved in every good move we had, his distribution was decent and he tried to give us width. He's no winger in a 4-4-2 formation, that's for sure, but he's pretty much the most effective "wide" player we have in the squad at the moment. Which isn't a particularly good thing, but had the other midfield players also performed to their capabilities that game would have been very different.
but hey some people just slag him off regardless of what he does. Hey ho...

'Cause the club is in such a great state off the pitch, obviously if Rafa went we'd immediately hire Hiddink and give him £60m to spend, we'll win the league the following season?

Of course it existed before Rafa, and will after, but the 3 managers we'd had immediately before him achieved nowhere near the level of results or success he has. I'd love us to play more attractive football more of the time, but I love us winning far more than I love us playing nice football. And I think we'd seriously struggle to do better at the moment.

Out of interest, were you ever one of those advocating Mourniho to replace Rafa last season?

Our squad was **** back then, Rafa had to improve it little by little with a limited budget. He did just that every season. I posted the list back to you because I don't understand why you're criticizing his transfer policy and say he's obsessed with numbers, then post the list of his signings to back it up. More than half of these signings cost peanuts, did you expect those peanuts to make us challenge for the title?

You're making it seem like you would have done better with the money available, but I think that's a load of ****. Rafa has done an excellent job with what he had to spend, and if he had better backing from the board we would have been even better.

I wanted Mourinho in 2004 but having seen the way his Chelsea team play football, he is the anti-Christ and another from the school of robotic football. No thanks and I didn't want him last season.

People go on about Wenger but that forget to mention that he has about a NET spend of £4m a season over the past 4 years. Rafa has £20m a season and has spent over £100m over the past 18 months - Wenger operated on a different blue print.

I also don't think a manager like Hiddink would need £60m to have us playing better than we currently do.

Rafa: 1 CL win, 1 FA Cup win, 1 CL final - £182m spent in 4 seasons. £92m recouped)

Wenger: 1 FA Cup win, 1 CL Final - he is in the break even region.

                              The blue print is different.

Ok, fair enough, at least you're consistent

Well, we'll see, we finished last season playing pretty good football most of the time, IF (and it is an if) Rafa gets the formation and system right with Keane added to that I think he can get us playing much better than we currently do.

Anyway, another question. Do you have any faith whatsoever in the abilities of Parry, Hicks and Gilette, to appoint a manager like Hiddink were Rafa to leave?
