Pardon me for not celebrating being top of the league on December 1st. It doesn't mean anything to me. I'm pissed because our team is less likely to be top of the league at the end of May because of what happened tonight.

I'm on the ****ing war path at the moment digger ! Sweet Jesus there are some utter ****e hawks kicking about. I was as upset as the next man, **** sake I got up at 4.00 am to watch that, standing up all through the game as its one of my new superstitions, willing team on, who to be fair played welll but in my opinion were set up tactically for once wrong against this side. West Ham will and have done for the past 2 games I have watched them, ate up pressure from high balls into the box all game long and never once looked uncomfortable. Last night, we gave them some more. I would have prefered to play a 4 2 3 1 last night and played it through the middle as much as possible. Still credit to the Hammers they were exceptionally well organised, there keeper made a number of world class saves and they managed to hit us on the break a few times to keep us Honest. But like I have said a number of times .. show me a man who would not take this position at the start of the lg and not be over the moon

Totally agree Nicey. I was doing the same thing this morning and was totally livid by the end if the game. I went to work pissed off, but I am over it now and extremely proud we are top of the league and we can only get better from here.

Well said, but I would proberly have left out a few of those words

Anywho it is fecking great we have come out of november at the top, our usual slump has not cost us in particular because chelsea have slipped as well.

The only one to gain a bit momentum is the scum but they are still behind us. It anoys me they have come back in the close race, but we will just have to beat them again We have a fairly easy going christmas schedule, so I remain an optimist overall.

And they are not exactly mauling everything before them. Fact is the league is getting tougher and closer, soon enough Liverpool will click and start scoring, that's going to happen, hopefully we'll be top still when it does.

We might not win the league this season, but I'm going to enjoy the ride and being top while I can. The fans are not playing their part either IMO, at Anfield the fans are adding too much pressure on the team causing them to tense up and waste chances. We need to lighten up a bit and cut the team some slack, none of them have been in this position.
