    El Kloppo !!
"As a player I had fifth division skills and a first division brain. The result was a second division footballer"

"How could I justify picking up my pay cheque if I stand here and say the tie is over? It would be just as stupid as saying we're going to walk all over them [in the second leg]. I can always supply silly answers to silly questions...... Yes, the tie is over, but we have to play them anyway."

      I'm not.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

Benitez needs to get this team going...3 wins on the trot but all poor performances. In fact we were lucky in all the games. Time to put in a good performance...Remember we got Villa and Man U in the next 2 games and I can almost guarantee, Villa will revved up for this one, so will the Scum....

I'm very nervous about this game, they're very well organised and work hard, it will be difficult.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

Liege's first two league games were a 3-1 away win and a 3-0 home win. They're top of the Belgian league.

              3-1 at home wasn't it?

No, 3-0 at home to Westerlo on Saturday and 3-1 away to Dender the week before.

i'm worried, we played ****e every competitive game so far, an away goal and we're ****ed. rafa's job is on the line if he fails to progress imo.

I dont think we're ****ed if they score an away goal. It depends where in the context of the tie that they score really.

We're easily capable of putting 3 or 4 past them. A goal inside 20 mins would be very useful.

                        What a strange statement?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                          why ?

It's not exactly his fault if we go out.. i mean i know he plays a massive part but when you consider that Mascherano missed the 1st leg, Gerrard only played 20 mins or whatever. Also Standard are no mugs and this tie was not as easy as some (including myself) thought it was going to be.

IMO as long as Rafa picks the team that on the night is best suited to wining this game and going through to the next round then there is little else that he can do.

There will be added pressure on his to perform in the league but it could also be a blessing in disguise and help us win no.19 (NOT SUGGESTING GOING OUT IS A GOOD THING !)

No such thing as due a **** up mate. We have won everyone so far because we have been better than the opposition and Wednesday will be no different.

We've road our luck a bit in these CL qualifiers at times over the last few years IMO. It might well come back and bite us in the arse one year, that's all I'm saying.

Liege will be closing us down for sure and we have really struggled when faced with this type of opposition. Time for some of the other players (such as Benni, Babel, Keane, Kuyt, Alonso) to stand up and be counted to ensure we are in the draw for the group stages of this seasons CL.

I am very nervous about thi game and just hope we can play football to a far higher standard than we have thus far.
Loops, we never do things the easy way, we must suffer for our triumphs.
