granted i havent watched the game again so maybe the drink and sun affected my judgement

    as i say not enough

    whats his goal record like
Kuyt hasn't scored at Anfield in the league since March 2007. He scored 3 last season and two were penalties against the ****e.... if we are wanting the league then should Kuyt be sold?

Jermaine wants to stay and he is the only natural winger we have - so why must he be bombed out like a piece of meat? He played excellent at Fulham last season too... and I just think we should see what he can do without marginalising him.

Because a pice of meat would turn in a bettter performance than Pennant. He is inaffective, he iis not offensive. He plays 95% of his passes either square or back. It's like having Carra in that position

It's obvious you don't rate the bloke and will probably never give him a fair go so just avoid the subject and do the rest of us a favour

yeah as if we wnat someone to take people on and actually chip in with a goal

El Zhar is Rafas choice now. He can go past players, and get a cross in. I don`t think it`s a coincident that all our goals this season has come after El Zhar has come in. This isn`t only because of El Zhar, but when the defenders are tired after running after Kuyt for 70 mins it`s a nightmare meeting a fresh player like El Zhar. He might not be significantly better that Pennant, but we can get a decent fee from Pennant while El Zhar wouldn`t give us that much.
Pennant has some brilliant games (also remember Birminham last season), but not many enough. Kuyt is probably doing exactly what Rafa tells him, and as a back-up it lokks like El Zhar is better right now.

He made his Liverpool debut against Maccabi Haifa in a Champions' League 3rd round qualifying match at Anfield where he went on to win the fans' Star Man award.
January, 2007, he scored his first goal for Liverpool in their 2-0 home victory over Chelsea.

An excellent performance against Arsenal playing a key part in three of the four goals as we cruised to a 4-1 victory.

Acclaimed for his performance against AC Milan in 2007. Arguably one of the best players on the Liverpool team that night, Pennant made dashing runs on the right flank, and supplied a number of good crosses in towards the strikers.

This is when he was geting time on the field. I just think some of the posts on here are unfounded and a bit ott, He has lots of talent, anyway,, time will tell, He mighte come out of this a better player.

it all makes us far too predictable and we resort to pumping balls up, keane is not going to win you too many of those, the only time we got a decent run down the wing and a cross in last night, we scored
                is right

So you do agree that we need wingers but you just despise the best we have. Is that right then?

                  Another chance? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Width? The guy constantly cuts in, never beats a man and never puts in a decent cross. Ridiculous signing and doesn't deserve another chance.

Pennant - A Winger who doesn't cross and doesn't beat a man and who can't get in ahead of a striker in his position. Says it all really. Was never good enough for us and never will be

What does that make Kuyt and Benayoun?

A not very good winger or no winger?
