Bloody hell, its amazing this argument is still going on about Gerrard and Lampard. I personally hope Gerrard retires from Int duty but it's obviously not going to happen so they should bench Lampard and start Gerrard.

i think this debate will eventually finish because lampard will be 31 next season and its tough to put in that kind of mileage at that age.
I also agree with one of the posters who said that sven and mclaren ****ed it up for them as its at that time that i started not to care about england.
I didnt want a foreign coach in charge and thought they should have gone for venables as sole manager as opposed to the tea lady that he was for mclaren.
Hats off to ferdinand today for coming out with what he did. Without doubt they look better. They are still a bit patchy though, especially in the first half. They seem to keep coming out stronger in the second half, and they at times do play some good football.
