How come bentley never faced a ban that time he made himself unavailable for england, due to being 'tired' ?

We dont have a case to argue about Rooney and ferdinand as neither of them played this weekend.

Didn't go to well - but ultimately we won so what the **** do i know

still - watching the first half, i was thinking, god these(bolton) are ****e we could have played darby and we'd have been fine - they weren't in the game - obv it would have been a massive test in the 2nd half tho when they but us under pressure.

I never thought rafa would start darby, and understand why he didn't - but i still feel strongly about the development of our youth players and the chances they are given.
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Bentley was for the U21's wasn't it - not sure if the rule applies there - or if the FA could be arsed if it did.

I thought it was for the full squad TBH, i might be mistaken though.

EDIT - it was indeed the U21's, i just checked.

IIRC he was left out of the next squad as a punishment although it may have been because he's a mouthy git who's not as great as he thinks he is.
            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Not got a problem with this Gerrard thing, he was fit enough to do the whole 90 minutes, even though he allegedly picked up the injury mid game, so the injury may just be total bollocks. And Terry is in the same boat.

Rio and Rooney did not play at the weekend, be they rested or not, so that is why they do not have to report.

****s sake, we do like to play the "everyone is picking on us card" sometimes. Gerrard cares about his England career, even if some of you don't.

And the Makelele thing was farcical...he wanted to retire, not miss a game, and should have been allowed to do so with dignity. A player should be allowed to retire from international football when he chooses, not when his national coach chooses.

I see Lampard has pulled out as well.

                    But that's okay.

Just read the article in the liverpool daily post and the FA basically said liverpool were bull****ting about his injury and ordered him to watford for tests!!! Cheeky ****ers. I don't suppose they said this to united or chelsea!!!
