It would be immense to imagine Souness and Gerrard playing together.
Another argument for the reason Gerrard is better than Souness (IMCO) is that Gerrard can play at a very high level in a number of positions. Souness was just an out and out midfielder. I couldn't see him filling in to the level of Gerrard as a right back or support striker.Comment
